Home ownership is a dream for many people. We typically dream of the typical two-story home with a white picket fence in a nice neighborhood, or even owning a nice condo in the middle of a busy city. These homes are very traditional, and don’t really draw much attention from the public. But, if you have a home owner who wants more in life than traditional, that is the first ingredient for a recipe of crazy innovation. Then, all you need is an engineer who is willing to test the limits of architecture and the results are out of this world! The homes that you’re about to see not only challenge traditional architecture, but the laws of physics themselves! After the home is built and ready to move in, one has to wonder whether or not the homeowners actually feel safe in their humble abode.

5 Places on Earth Where Gravity Doesn't Seems to Work

CRAFTS & HACKS ►

For certain you all know the story of Isaac Newton: he was sitting under a tree, and an apple fell on his head, and after that he immediately discovered the law of universal gravitation. But there’re places on the Earth where this law actually doesn’t work. In today's video, we’re gonna tell you about the 5 mysterious places on our planet, where at first sight there’s absolutely no gravity. Ready to learn something new?

The Structures That Defy Gravity | The B1M

From floating museums that reach into other countries, to breathtaking cantilevered sky gardens and terrifying observation platforms, these structures appear to defy gravity. For more by The B1M subscribe now:

10 Most Insane Houses In The World

10 Most Insane Houses In The World. Four walls and a roof. That’s what most of us are used to when it comes to home life, but there are some houses out there that don’t quite follow conventions. From houses with stairs that lead to nowhere to houses made of mostly windows, the world has a lot of homes out there that’ll make you scratch your head.

10. The Winchester Mystery House

One of the biggest mysteries in the United States can be found within this house. This is a mansion, but it’s no ordinary one. It’s got over 160 rooms and 10,000 windows, but that’s just the beginning of what makes this house so fantastic. This house can almost be seen as a death trap. There’s one door that leads you to nothing, and if you’re not careful, you can find yourself opening up the door and taking a fifteen-foot fall to the ground. There’s also staircases that lead to nowhere, such as the ceiling. This mystery house all started off as a regular, old farmhouse, and then Sarah Winchester came along in 1886 and turned it into the maze of rooms and stairs it is today. The construction took almost four decades to make, and even today no one is quite sure what Winchester was trying to prove. One popular theory, however, says that Winchester was following the strange orders of ghosts.

9. House of Windows

Found in Tokyo, Japan, this house isn’t for those who crave privacy. Literally everything and everyone living in this house is exposed. There’s nothing to cover you up from the sneaky eyes of neighbours or passer-by’s, but if you’re interested in this house, maybe privacy isn’t really your thing. Said to be inspired by people who used to live in trees, this house has a couple of positives. You don’t need light most of the time, which means you’ll save on bills, and having natural sunlight come into your house is always a plus – but losing all your privacy for some good lighting seems like a big price to pay.

8. FallingWater

It’s not very often that you get to live among water – but this house offers just that. Built over a waterfall, this is the kind of house that gives you all the nature you could ever need. Built back in 1935 in Pennsylvania, this much acclaimed house has been seeing praise for years, and for a good reason. The house completely utilises nature, and the fireplace found in the living room was even built with one of the boulders within the area. The house features a beautiful stairway that leads to the water below, showing that one can truly be in touch with nature while also living in style. The house is so insane that it’s even inspired its own Lego set, which isn’t an achievement many buildings can say they have!

7. The Slide House

Quite possibly one of the funnest houses in the world is located in Japan. The name tells you everything you need to know. Yes, this house does indeed feature slides that wrap around the house. It does have stairs in case you want to take the mature route – but who could possibly want that? The house was created by designers who wanted children to have fantastic, fun memories about the house they grew up in, and who wouldn’t when the house they live in even has a ball pit? The house also comes with a six-foot-long sofa. This place is all around fun, so the designers certainly did a good job at achieving their goal.

6. The Flinstone House

Ever wondered what it would be like to grow up in the past? Well, this house can take you there. Kind of. Inspired by the simple but sweet home of the cartoon family the Flinestones, this house looks like the cartoon come to life! You think you’d be a million years in the past living in this house, but it’s actually found in Malibu. The house looks like a giant rock, and its uneven windows give you that stone age feel. The entire house looks like it’s come straight out of a history book and it’s a wonderful example of architecture done right. Even the kitchen looks like a perfect replica of the Flinestone house. The drawers in there are never quite even, but are still sturdy and functional enough for anyone to use them, showing you that the designers certainly went all out when it came to this place!

This world is not free of wonders. That goes the same to human beings living around us. Everything in our world is special and unique - diversity is everywhere. But there are people who stand out more than other people. Today we will talk about 10 people you won’t believe actually exist.

10. Yu Zhenhuan – This man comes from the northern Chinese province of Liaoning. He has hair that covers 96 per cent of his body because of a rare hormone imbalance. This makes Yu the hairiest man on the Earth. Yu’s excess body hair is all over his body except for two places; his palms, and soles of his feet.

9. Helmut Strebl - This 49-year-old Austrian bodybuilder is so ripped he regularly goes viral across social media and is regarded by many as the most shredded guy alive. Helmut is quite literally ripped to the bone, his low body fat percentage, which is only 3%, is a true testament to what can be achieved with years of hard work and dedication.
Found on :

8. Tran Van Hay – Although he never got his hair officially measured and acknowledged by the Guinness Book of Records, Vietnamese herbalist Tran Van Hay was known as the man with the longest hair in the world. For nearly 50 years, he’d kept his head hidden from view.

7. Ekaterina Lisina – The Russian model, who is 6feet 9inches tall, is already known in her hometown of Penza, Russia, for having the biggest feet for a woman. Ekaterina also has two Guinness records to her name having also been crowned the world’s tallest model whose legs measure 132 centimeters, or 52 inches.

6. Nikita Tkachuk – This Russian body builder is fairly new on the scene. His massive size has everyone saying that his muscles are nothing but synthol which is an alcohol oil combination that artificially inflates your muscles.

5. Skye Broberg – Also known as Skye Circus, is a five time Guinness World Record Holder in Contortion and has travelled around the world performing on television, street and stage. Her act includes squeezing herself through rings and performing bone and ligament defying stunts in her tiny glass prison.

4. Michele Kobke - 24-year-old Michele Kobke made headlines in 2013 due to her tiny 16-inch waist. However, she wasn’t born this way, but instead chose to modify her body. By sleeping in a corset every night for 3 years she reduced her waist by 9 inches.

3. Nick Stoeberl - There is one guy in Santa Cruz who Miley Cyrus would probably like to snap a selfie with for her signature face pose, and that would be Nick Stoeberl. Nick has the longest tongue in the world and was added to the Guinness World Records 2015 book and still currently holds that record.

2. Thái Ngọc - a Vietnamese farmer born in 1942, Thai has claimed he has been awake One day in 1973, this life-long farmer came down with a fever. Since then he has been unable to sleep a wink. That would be 43 years without sleeping at all. But it’s not for a lack of trying.

1. Dean Karnazes – is known as the man who can run forever. In fact, he has been able to run for three days and nights without stopping. Karnazes has completed some of the toughest endurance events on the planet, from a marathon to the South Pole in temperatures of -25C to the legendary Marathon des Sables, but in his entire life he has never experienced any form of muscle burn or cramp, even during runs exceeding 100 miles.

10 Scientifically Impossible Places That Actually Exist

The Seven Wonders of the Natural World may have been named too quickly. Wonders like The Grand Canyon and Victoria Falls are certainly big, and anyone who sees them will surely be impressed—but sheer size isn’t enough to truly leave a person in awe.
There are other places in this world, though, that are far stranger. Places that seem almost alien, as if they could only exist on a planet that evolved separately from our own. These are places that scientists have had to struggle just to understand how they ever could have been formed. Places that will truly make you wonder—not just because they’re beautiful, but because they seem to follow scientific laws that don’t exist anywhere else on earth. Here are 10 Scientifically Impossible Places That Actually Exist

10 Superpowers Monks Have in Real Life

Monks can do some pretty amazing things! Subscribe to our channel:

For many of us, superheroes play an important role in our childhood, as well as when we’re adults. From comic books to the big screen, they entertain us, inspire us and can help to get those creative juices flowing when we’re looking for a push. Now, we’ve looked at people with superpowers in previous videos. This time around, we’re going to show you 10 individuals who gained powers after enduring some sort of accident or other event.
We’ll start off with Franco Magnani who could suddenly remember the past with such stunning clarity that his artwork was a near-perfect representation of locations from Italy. Derek Amato could suddenly play the piano and compose music after suffering a concussion – despite the fact he had never touched a keyboard in his life. While still in the womb, Kimberly Gordon was given a serious jolt when her mom was struck by lightning. Even after being born, the result of this incident is pretty obvious. On his way home Nikolai Kryaglyachenko received a nasty shock from a live wire. Incredibly, as a result, metal objects can stick to his body. When Rory Curtis awoke from a coma following a car crash, he could speak French fluently, along with one other bonus ‘power.’ After receiving a brutal beating outside a bar, Jason Padgett suddenly developed amazing abilities when it came to art and math. Edwin Robinson was blind and partially deaf – until lightning struck. After this he seemingly developed the ability to rejuvenate his eyes and ears to near-full working order. Surgeon Tony Cicoria also suffered a lightning strike which led to an out of body experience – and, of course, a superpower. When he was hit in the head at a baseball game, Orlando Serrell didn’t think anything of it. Then he realized he was able to remember pretty much everything about every day in his past with crystal clarity. Finally, when Adam Rainer was born with dwarfism people thought that was that. Then a small tumor changed everything in a big, big way!

Why Don't These Hanging Stones Fall?

BRAIN TIME ►

Our planet is a mysterious place, full of strange, mystical and simply incomprehensible things and sometimes even the smartest scientists cannot explain them. Some of those incredible phenomena are hanging stones. These huge rocks are not really able to float above the ground or to swing on some vines, but is still a complicated and interesting thing to watch. So, in today's video, we are gonna show you ten amazing hanging stones that challenge the laws of physics.

AMAZING SCIENCE MAGICAL TOYS TO MAKE YOU SAY WOW!

Hi Everyone :)
Welcome back!

I get asked often: Where did you get all this stuff? My goal is to share the real magic of science and physics- and to this end I will update here (and in my store) suggestions on where to get some of these toys, kinetic art pieces, and scientific curiosities for yourself.

Buy them on :

Follow on Instagram :

This video contains :

👉 The Levitron: spin stabilized magnetic levitation- will fly for about 3 minutes or more per launch. The spin rate of the magnetic top must be just right for flight, not too fast or too slow. Also the weight of the top must be adjusted to within 1 gram to achieve equilibrium between the pull of gravity and the magnetic repulsion from the large donut shaped magnet in the wood base. Repost of my favorite physics toy in my collection.

👉 Sodium Fluorescein: this organic compound acts as a special dye that absorbs energy of blue and UV light and then emits it as green light. In daylight a solution of fluorescein will appear to have a strange green highlight, but when illuminated from behind it is yellowish gold in color due to absorption of all the blue and green light that tries to pass through.

👉 Polarization Test Card: light has features that are invisible to the human eye, such as the orientation of its electric field (denoted as polarization), but can be revealed to us by a polarizing filter, used to block light with specific polarization orientations.

👉 Greyscale Polage: images painted with polarized light are revealed via a polarizing filter.

👉 Circularly Polarized Reflecting Scarab: the iridescent jewel scarabs like this one (Chrysina Gloriosa) have a very rare property: they reflect only circularly polarized light! When viewed through a filter that allows only left CP light the metallic greens and gold colors of the beetle are clearly visible, but if viewed through a right CP filter hardly any light gets through and the beetle looks dark brown.

👉 Microlouver Film Samples: like tiny blinds the films only a allow light to pass through at specific angles. Used for privacy screens for monitors or for glare reduction in car dashboard instrumentation. These samples were found in my grandfathers shop long ago- I can't find anyone selling the slanted version at this time.

👉 Precession of a Gyroscope: in defiance of gravity this gyroscope hangs from a string attached only at one end. The physics and vector nature of angular momentum!

👉 Magnetic Seal & Ball: Clever placement and orientation of magnets in the seal and ball produce this effect in this toy from Germany.

👉 Novascope: tapered mirror kaleidoscope by David Sugich uses three mirrors to create an image of geodesic spheres.

👉 Poemotion: animation from ingenious and intricate Moiré pattern interference. Carefully align and slide the included transparent sheet of vertical lines and the amorphous images spring into sharp form and motion. A book of 31 images created by Takahiro Kurashima from Lars Müller Publishers.

👉 Magneview Flim: making the invisible visible and revealing the hidden physics of our everyday world. Microscopic cavities in this green film are filled with oil and tiny flakes of Nickel metal- like compass needles.

👉 Tea Candle Steam Engine: a functional piston steam engine complete with boiler and flywheel. Takes about 2 minutes to get going after the candle is lit.

👉 The Lollipopter: one of my favorite interactive kinetic sculpture designs.  With a bit of practice one can master the transformation in both directions: A snap of the wrist imparts angular momentum to the petals which then rotate until an internal mechanism stops their motion with predetermined spacing- a helix transforms to an abstract pine cone. A second snap of the wrist in the opposite direction returns the helix.

👉 The Helicone

👉 Self-Propelled Homopolar Motor on Aluminum Foil Racetrack: A favorite DIY physics toy where disk shaped neodymium magnets supply the static magnetic field for this motor and become the wheels of a very simple vehicle with an AAA battery as the energy source. The racetrack is a cardboard circle from a pizza box covered in kitchen foil.

👉 Pin-Tumbler Lock: simple and accurate model of how a basic lock works.
