The doctors also boosted She advised that Do follow doctors instructions and take medications regularly If anyone contracts coronavirus, one should get treatment as soon as possible and should not be scared of it. This can be treated. Have courage and keep yourself internally strong. And there is no need to worry.

In the video, Dr. Abhishek Pimpralekar who treated Mrs.Parekh describes the way the treatment was given and also the recovery process of the patient. He also appreciated the way Mrs.Parekh as well as her family members, had confidence in him and co-operated in this journey.

A recovered Covid-19 patient shared his experience. 21-year-old Syed Kaif Ali Abidi, a Lucknow resident, recounted how he had come in contact with a relative who had travelled to Canada. He was the only one in his family to test positive for Sars-Cov-2 coronavirus infection. Abidi thanked the medical staff at Lucknow's King George's Medical University for their 'great sense of care' and 'professionalism'. He also said that patients of the disease shouldn't panic. 'COVID-19 is like viral fever': Bengaluru man shares recovery experience

A Bengaluru man shared his experience of recovering from COVID-19. Venkata Raghava, who was infected with COVID-19, has fully recovered now. Raghava said that COVID-19 is like a regular viral fever and also informed that his entire family was tested negative. So far, India has recorded more than 1250 COVID-19 cases and over 30 deaths. India is under lockdown till April 14 to stop the spread of coronavirus.

'Please, please, please...': Watch recovered Coronavirus patient's message

Amit Kapoor, a recovered Covid-19 patient, issued a video message as cases of Coronavirus infection rose in the country. Kapoor released the message after reaching home after his 14-day isolation. He appealed to people to not panic and cooperate with doctors and the government to ensure that the virus doesn't spread. He also warned against India becoming a 'second Europe', a reference to the burgeoning cases in countries like Italy, where the death toll has surpassed China's. India has reported over 430 cases of Covid-19 so far.

No Need To Be Scared: Delhi's First Coronavirus Patient, Now Recovered

The number of coronavirus cases in India reached 109 today, with Maharashtra having the highest number of cases at 32. The Indian government insists there is no community transmission in the country yet and for now India is only testing those with symptoms who also have a history of contact with a Covid-19 affected patient. India currently has one of the lowest testing rates in the world at a time when the World Health Organisation is making a case for aggressive testing by countries to reverse the tide.

Worldwide there have been more than five million cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, and more than 328,000 deaths. While those numbers are shocking, the reality is the majority of those who contract the illness survive it.

Many people believe that having the virus is an experience akin with having the flu or a bad cold. Survivors, though, are telling different stories, in which many of them have experienced a rollercoaster of severe symptoms. Doctors are also investigating whether the virus could cause long-term health complications.

So what is it really like to have Covid-19 and come out the other side? In this episode of The Stream, we’re joined by a group of survivors to find out.
