Top 10 Surprise Bear Encounters

Don’t you love bears? These furry adorable animals are very intelligent, with navigational skills that surpass humans. Their brains are so big, that they’re capable of storing memories and show a wide range of emotions. And just like human kids...bear cubs can be very playful, but they have very defensive and overprotective moms watching their backs in case something happens. And one wants to be in the way of an angry mother bear or any angry bear in general. These animals are also good hunters and they will fight you to death if they need to. For that reason, it is not a surprise that a lot of us enjoy watching these animals but we’re not necessarily looking to run into one of them in the wild. Especially if they’re big. I guess I wouldn’t mind seeing some cubs though! Anyway, today we’ll be looking at “10 Surprise Bear Encounters.” Some lucky as well as unlucky people came face to face with these animals. Let’s see what happened and how these humans reacted during their encounters.

A Black Bear in a Driveway

It looks like you don’t have to go far to come face to face with a bear. Sometimes, they can just show up at your place! And that’s exactly what happened in this video, when a black bear showed up at a neighborhood and started to stroll around different houses. The video begins right when the bear makes its way to someone’s driveway, which made the person panic. I mean, bears are nice and all, but I’m sure no one would want to be surprised by one at their own home! The owner of the house received an alarmed phone call from a neighbor who was yelling and warning about the black bear that was walking up the driveway. Apparently, this happened just 10 minutes after the bear had been feeding from a neighboring bird feeder. It sounds like the bear had the time of its life while visiting those homes! Luckily, it was just a friendly visit, and no one was negatively affected by it...only those birds whose food got stolen.

The Bear Who Made Someone Run
( at 3:10)

This video is the clear definition of a “surprise encounter”. The guy behind it was recording his journey while jogging through the woods in British Columbia, Canada. He even stops to say hi to some people along the way, not knowing that after 3 minutes, he would come face to face with what seems to be a very aggressive bear. Right after that, the man begins to run as fast as he can, hoping to stay away from the beast. We don’t see the bear after that, so it’s safe to assume that the bear was probably as surprised as the jogger was. We would know more about the bear if the guy had stayed a bit longer and followed to see where it went. However, I can totally see why he didn’t do it. It didn’t look like the kind of bear you’d like to mess with.

The Man who Scared a Bear

Often when we think of bears in the wild, we picture them as the kind of animals that we want to run away from. However, this video shows quite the opposite. In it we can see a Swedish man who found a bear hidden in the woods. At first it looks like the man is inviting the bear to come out into the clear side, and finally, the bear accepts the invitation and runs out of the woods towards the man at a very high speed. In fact, it looks as if the bear is about to charge and launch itself on the man. Surprisingly, the man responds with a loud scream and some arm movements that obviously scared the bear, so the animal just ran for its life and went back into the woods. I wonder what was going on inside the bear’s mind, but he obviously got scared when he saw the man reacting in this way.

The Bear Whisperer

And here’s another crazy encounter. This one involves a hunter who found a bear in the woods. In a desperate move to try to save his life, the man climbed up to the top of a ladder. However, you can see bears are very smart, and this bear was able to climb up and follow the hunter. But half way through the climb, the bear stopped and the man began to talk the bear out of attacking him. I’m not sure how this happened but worked out! The bear understood and just went back to the woods to do whatever it is that it was doing. We should probably contact this guy and ask what are the right words to say to bears in this kind of situation. It’s one of those things that I wouldn’t believe if there was not a video to prove that it actually happened.

A visiting Neighbor

Boy miraculously escapes a dangerously close encounter with brown bear

A young boy has escaped a bear attack by keeping calm and following his family's instructions.

The 12-year-old boy, named Alessandro, was hiking with some adults in the Brenta Dolomites, northern Italy, when he made the close encounter.

But unlike many others who would have panicked in that situation, he managed to keep calm and slowly walked away, avoiding any danger.

A clip of the incident shows the brave boy walking away while the bear follows him about two metres behind.

The person filming the video can be heard saying: Come Ale [Italian diminutive of Alessandro], don't turn your back at him.

As he walks down the hill, Alessandro constantly checks the bear's movements.

When the bear stands on its hind legs, the boy nervously calls for his mum, who tells him to keep walking and avoid any panic.

Keep calm.

10 Easy Ways to Survive a Wild Animal Attack

How to survive bear or shark attack? What should you do if you are bitten by a snake? Here're some tips on what to do when you encounter a wild animal and how to survive wild animal attacks.

When we meet some wild animals on a picnic or in the woods, we get scared. But we usually don't know what to do in each case as we might not fully realize the danger and act properly.
Any warm-blooded animal might be a carrier of rabies. This is a lethal disease that can't be cured. The disease is transmitted through a bite or spit. However sweet an animal seems, you'd better not touch it.

Some extra tips 7:59

-Never approach moose calves or make any abrupt movements.
-Don’t Press the car horn or blink the lights if you see a moose or a boar on the road. Slowly stop if the animal appears on the road.
-Never touch a hedgehog barehanded as you might catch a whole variety of infections, only take it with you if it’s wounded.
-Don’t try to outrun an angry boar, climb up a tree instead.
-Don’t panic if you find a bat in your apartment. Put on some thick gloves and carefully take it.
-Never try to play with a fox, coyote, or a jackal no matter how cute it looks. Instead, stretch out your arms or clothes to give the impression that you have increased in size.
-Only try to save a nestling if it has visible damage.
-Don’t think that a dolphin can do absolutely no harm to you. Swim away from it if you can.
-If you see a dolphin ashore, don’t carry it back to the sea. Speak to rescuers or the coast guard and wait for help near the dolphin.
-In case you ever meet a shark, stay still and defend yourself. Punch it on the nose with all your might and try to leave the water.
-Don't let your pets play with wild animals. Don't feed wild animals. Never touch young animals. Their parents will be aggressive.

Many wild animals can be dangerous or even fatal for a person. If you look at the statistics, you might feel terrified.
- Sharks cause just six deaths a year - their infamous reputation is very exaggerated.
- Wolves are responsible for ten deaths annually.
- Lions kill 22 people a year.
- Now get ready: elephants, cute lovely giants, are the reason that more than 500 people lose their lives every year!
- Hippopotamuses equal them in this scary competition.
- Crocodiles turn out to be much more dangerous than sharks: about one thousand deaths a year.
- But the champion here is the snake: 100,000 people meet their end at the teeth of this reptile.

We hope you will never have to escape from a rhinoceros, swim away from a crocodile, or meet a hungry lion. However, now you will be able to protect yourself in the wilderness.

- Trees, buildings, and utility poles will act as lightning rods for you, so never stand close to them.
- Even if you’re dressed warmly enough, there are always some parts of your body left exposed to cold weather. A simple can of petroleum jelly will help you with that.
- Magnetize a needle by rubbing it against a magnet, then put two pieces of floaty stuff you have on both sides of a needle. Let it float in the water and it will eventually stop in one direction.
- Garlic, rosemary, mint or thyme – all of these herbs' smell will scare away all the pesky insects around.
- Tie a scrolled piece of cloth around your leg and go through the high grass in the morning. It will collect dew that you can squeeze out into a bottle.
- You'll need a 9-volt battery for that. Simply putting both contacts of this battery against a piece of steel wool leads to a small short circuit spark that spreads right away.
- Turn the clay pot upside down and place it on top of the rod so that it hangs in the air. Place some candles around the rod and light them up. The heat from candles will get trapped under the pot.
- You can use any source of natural fat instead of wax, and you can use a simple paper tissue or toilet paper to make a wick.
- Put the end of the wire into the keyhole and bend it at a right angle, then pull it out a bit and bend in the other direction. Then stick it into the very edge of the keyhole following all the bends.
- If you spotted a shark in the water, it doesn't mean that it's going to attack. If it passes by in the distance in a straight line, you have all the chances to calmly get away to the beach.
- Move slowly and always leave an escape route for the bear. Try to make yourself look bigger than you are – spread your coat wide, stand on your tiptoes, but don't be aggressive.

- If you’re outside during a tornado, finding an underground shelter or solid building is ideal. If that's impossible, lie flat and facedown on the lowest ground you can find.
- Even though your instincts might be telling you to run as fast as you can, the last thing you should do is run, panic, or make loud noises. Keep as still as possible, with the side of your body facing the dog.
- You won’t be the only one active at night, which means you’ll probably have more than one encounter with potential predators. The desert predators you need to be aware of are bobcats, mountain lions, and coyotes.
- Hypothermia happens when your core body temp drops from 98.6º to 95º. When faced with these conditions, even if you’re a bit dehydrated, never eat snow. It can actually speed up the process of hypothermia.
- If you’ve lost your way, the best way to be spotted by others out hiking (or even aircraft) is a smoke signal. Start by building a fire, adding as much green grass and foliage as you can find.
- According to the Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the University of Florida, only about one in 50 million people will die of a snakebite annually. This works out to be about 5–6 fatalities per year.
- If a mountain lion's walking toward you, try some intimidation tactics like waving your arms, screaming, or even throwing things at it. These cats might be big, but they’re easily chased away.
- This might sound weird, but sharks are ambush predators who like to sneak up on their prey. If they realize that you can see them coming, they might get turned off and swim away.
- Be wary of shark attacks. If you notice a shark stalking your raft or boat, give it a good smack to the gills, nose, or eyes with a stick or any other blunt object you have with you.
- This massive onslaught of snow can totally screw up your senses and disorient you. Try to let go of your heavy equipment — but not your survival gear. Swim through the snow to get to the surface.
- The old advice about playing dead is kind of a misnomer. It only works if the bear is surprised by you, not if it’s aggressively charging you or dragging you around.
- Try to land feet first with your knees relaxed. This will definitely hurt, but your chances of survival are better than if you landed on your head.

What To Do When You're Trapped in the Woods

Get more Tips here!
What To Do When You're Trapped in the Woods

You thought it’d be fun to take a few days away from the world and camp out a bit. You get up early and strike off on your own to discover the area but a sudden storm hits, you run for cover and become completely lost. The only thing that matters now is getting home alive. So, what do you do?

1. Don’t Panic
When you’re lost in unfamiliar territory it’s going to be pretty daunting. The difference between making a mistake and choosing correctly is often the difference between keeping cool and losing your head. You can get yourself out of this. Positive thinking is one of the keys to survival.

2. Ask the Questions
While you’re stopping and thinking, ask yourself: Where do I think I am? What’s available around me? How long will it be until they realize I’m lost? Take a moment to examine yourself and your surroundings and try to figure out if it’s worth plunging forward or if it's best to simply plant and wait for the cavalry.

3. Retrace Your Steps
If you’ve been heading in the same general direction since you left camp, you might do well to try and retrace your steps. It may just be a matter of walking in the right direction until you get your bearings.

4. Consider the Plant
If you’ve been wandering for a while, consider just staying put. If someone’s expecting you back, stay where you are, because help will come for you eventually.

5. Look For Shelter
One of your top priorities should be keeping dry. You’re looking for a dry(ish) place that will keep rain from hitting you and wind from chilling you. Look for fallen trees or rock outcroppings.

6. Beware of Caves
A nice, warm cave can be the ideal sort of shelter while you await rescue. You’re likely not the only weary traveler who’s had the same idea! Be very cautious as you just might be moving into a animal’s lair.

7. Four-legged Encounters
If you happen to run into coyotes, wolves or cougars, do not play dead, approach or run away. Face it and back away from it slowly. If they have you cornered, make yourself seem as big as possible. If it attacks, smash the heel of your hand into its snout while blocking its mouth with your other arm.

8. Finding Water
The easiest way to find it is to head downhill. If you’re not sure which direction “downhill” is, try looking for lines of trees or clusters of vegetation as plants grow thickest near water. Be sure to listen as much as you look, too.

9. Make a Fire
It’s getting dark and chilly. You’re going to need a fire which will also be a good signal as you're lost. (Will adjust this to follow the video tut of someone making a fire) Collect some dry leaves or grass, some twigs and logs and pile it up. Cut a small groove in the stick. Then take a sturdy stick, put one end in the groove and rub your stick in the groove you’ve cut out. Once it catches, blow on it gently to get your fire going.

10. Laze Out
When you’re lost in the woods and on limited rations you should try and do as little as possible. Expending energy expends valuable body heat and also makes you hungry and thirsty. Dehydration will be your biggest threat, so do all you can to conserve water.

Now that you've survived the woods, next time be sure to take a compass and a map!

How to prevent a panic attack

Panic attacks can be scary when they happen, but it's important to remember that they can, and will pass. When you're in the moment, there are some simple actions that you can take and some things you can remember which may help you to calm down again.

Leading consultant psychiatrist, Dr Adil Jawad, gives advice on avoiding a panic attack, and what you can do if you feel you are about to experience one.

Family panic as they find three bears trashing their kitchen and eating out of the bin

THREE little black bears entered an Alaska home last week and wreaked havoc in the kitchen before leaving the household otherwise untouched.

A mother and her children returned to their Anchorage home on July 23 only to find three bear cubs roaming in their kitchen and making snacks of anything edible in their pathway.

Shocking video captured by the mom shows the three cubs in the kitchen: one hovering on a kitchen counter over the sink and eating out of some tin, while two are on the floor near the back entrance.

The family says they left the backdoor open, allowing the cubs to roam inside. Frightened by the humans and confused at the sight of the glass door, the cubs scamper, attempting to exit through the glass door patio from how they entered.

With the bear on the kitchen counter top banging along utensils as it tries futilely to exit through the closed window, the two bears near the glass door manage to slide it open and scamper out. The bear over the kitchen sink follows them shortly thereafter.

The video becomes all the more stunning once the house owner walks outside-- and sees a mother bear waiting for her three cubs to exit the house.

[BCJP] Panic Tower (2 star)

Would highly recommend to get manic eraser to level 41 and eraser to +63 because they can take a 450% cadaver bear hit which helps a lot with stalling him because my eraser isn't +63 I decided to go with jiangshi instead and he's alright with his speed talents, but I rekon eraser at +63 is much better than him. Other than that from the legends ururun is worth investing in because she can take two cadaver bear hits at level 39 or higher.

Anyways this is a really bad run well it's mostly only the startoff which got saved by lucky interactions the imporant part about this run is how the two cadaver bears are handled. You want to make sure to zkill snipe the first cadaver bear because it's very difficult if not impossible to stall two cadaver bears at the same time on 2 star. While you zkill snipe you want to make sure you also pull the second cadaver bear above ground, but runs can go different ways if you manage to cripple the first cadaver to much before the second one arrives you want to holyblast snipe him early and let the second cadaver bear burrow far away. Slime is really amazing here you can use the peons infront of cadaver bear as stepping stone to chip him of to get him in range of your holyblast and slime is also pretty handy for getting rid of the zombies that attempt to burrow in your meatshields. Cadaver bear has 4 knockbacks you want to remember this well if you want to holyblast snipe him down. Might level up some more stuff on bcen to experiment around a bit more. Also that second bahamut was a miss click having your meatshielding on point is very important for stalling cadaver bear that's why I clicked to quick and accidently spawned bahamut.

Holyblast level 16

A panic attack is a very sudden and frightening experience that can feel like you are having a heart attack, dying, or losing control. Many adults experience only 1 or 2 attacks in a lifetime, but others have recurrent attacks, which may be an indication of an underlying condition called panic disorder. A panic attack is an abrupt onset of intense fear for no apparent reason, accompanied by very real physical changes, such as a rapid and pounding heart rate, sweating, and rapid breathing. Steps can be taken to stop a panic attack, and to help prevent further attacks from happening.

Here are the tips/advice as follows:
1. Recognize the physical symptoms.
2. Control your breathing.

4. Try to continue your activity.
5. Avoid running away.
6. Focus on other things.
