How To Build a Golf Hitting Net || Golf Swing Net

My Gear on Amazon Shop - Golf Net Gear

This is my backyard golf swing net. It's 10' x 30'. Each section is 10' x 10'. I used 2 PVC piping for the 4 support poles with 7' yard stakes hammered into the ground inside them. I used 1.5 PVC pipes for the 4 poles running across the top and bottom of the structure. The rest of the structure consists of some PVC T pieces, elbows and adapters. You can custom this part for your specific space. Then just add some high-impact netting and you're pretty much good to go.

DIY Backyard Driving Range

An Adventures At Home, LLC video! In this video we are going to show you a relatively simple way to make a chipping and driving platform for hitting golf balls in your backyard - Your very own DIY backyard driving range! With some plywood, 2x4’s, construction adhesive, outdoor carpet/turf and a few screws you can make your very own mini driving range in your own backyard. This is part one, and we will just be making the platform covered in turf in this video. Stay tuned for more videos in which we install it permanently in the backyard and add a driving range style tee for using your driver.

About this video: If you love golf like us, you more than likely practice in your backyard if you’re able to. The only problem is that divots all over the front yard do tend to become unsightly by the end of summer. Not to worry! In this video we’re going to show you how to build a platform out of plywood, 2x4’s and outdoor carpet/turf for hitting golf balls in your backyard. For under $100.00 you can have your very own driving range platform. The way we look at it, after only a few saved trips to the driving range this thing pays for itself! Not to mention all of the money you’ll probably win off your buddies now that you can practice nightly.. This is a great afternoon project that doesn’t require any advanced knowledge; so what are you waiting for? Come on and build with us!

Driving Range at home

Driving Range at home

I spent some time RV living in a travel trailer and realized that the roof space was nearly completely unused. I made this driving green to go on the roof of my travel trailer and be removable so that I can take it anywhere and practice golf.

The overall dimensions are 36 by 72 (nearly a meter by 2 meters) and about 2 thick and it weighs less than 50 pounds. I purchased the foam and pvc sheet for about $55 and the bamboo kabobs for an additional $6. Everything else in this build including the fake grass, silicon, and hot glue I already had from other projects. Faux grass can be purchased for and $9/ft² and slightly more for precut pieces.

My build it yourself DIY golf practice net

This is my build it yourself golf practice net.
The frame is 9 feet wide by 8 feet tall.
The net is 10‘ x 10‘ high impact nylon.
I used 24 screw eyes and 24 carabiner's.
I used 5 x 10' - 1 1/2 Plastic Tubes from Home Depot and cut 2 of them to 8' long then cut 2 to 9' long. Then I cut the 5th one in half then in half again for the legs.
The Fittings, 2 x 1 1/2 90*. 2 x 1 ½” 4 way and 4 x 1 1/2 end caps.
(Sorry about the wind and poor sound quality. It's my first video post)
I used the carabiners and didn't glue the PVC joints so it can be taken apart easily to store away or transport anywhere for use.

The Net,

4-Way Tee PVC Fitting, (This link is for 4 fittings because it was almost the same price as buying 2 of them but you only need 2 of the 4 way fittings) Maybe you can find 2 for a better price.

2/5cm D Shape Spring-loaded Gate Aluminum Carabiner,

#10 Zinc-Plated Steel Screw Eye (50-Pack),

1-1/2 in. x 10 ft. DWV Sch. 40 Foam Core Pipe,
