Why learn Python?

Programmers love Python because of how fast and easy it is to use. Python cuts development time in half with its simple to read syntax and easy compilation feature. Debugging your programs is a breeze in Python with its built in debugger. Using Python makes Programmers more productive and their programs ultimately better. Python continues to be a favorite option for data scientists who use it for building and using Machine learning applications and other scientific computations.
Python runs on Windows, Linux/Unix, Mac OS and has been ported to Java and .NET virtual machines. Python is free to use, even for the commercial products, because of its OSI-approved open source license.
Python has evolved as the most preferred Language for Data Analytics and the increasing search trends on python also indicates that Python is the next Big Thing and a must for Professionals in the Data Analytics domain.

Who should go for python?

Edureka’s Data Science certification course in Python is a good fit for the below professionals:

· Programmers, Developers, Technical Leads, Architects

· Developers aspiring to be a ‘Machine Learning Engineer'

· Analytics Managers who are leading a team of analysts

Flutter Generated Dependency Injection – Kiwi Tutorial

???? Learn from the written tutorial ????????

???? The biggest Flutter conference in Europe:

???? Get Flutter news ???? and resources:
????

????‍???? Do you write good code? Find out now!

Most of you are probably aware of packages like get_it or even provider which are amazing tools for doing basic and manual dependency injection. When your app is small, filling in a all of the constructor parameters yourself may not seem to be such a daunting task. Once your app starts to grow though and, as a proper programmer, you want to keep it clean by creating smaller sensible classes, doing it all by hand becomes a nightmare.

In this tutorial, you're going to learn how to utilize the power of code generation together with the kiwi package to configure your dependency injection container in no time.

ROS Developers LIVE-Class #49: How to Map & Localize a Robot (ROS)

The first thing that an autonomous robot must know to do is how to navigate in an environment. In this class, you'll learn how to create a map of the environment for your robot with ROS, and how to localize your robot on that map.

Further classes will show you how to move the robot along the space using the map and the localization.

By the end of this Live Class you will understand:
▸ How to create a map of the environment where your robot will work
▸ How to localize your robot in that map

Robots used in this class:
▸ Summit XL robot from Robotnik:

Managed type vs. Unmanaged type, pointer vs. tracking handle

We will learn

1. the difference between

//
unmanaged type and managed type
unmanaged type means classic C++ classic
managed type means ref class

2. the difference between

//
pointer and tracking handle

we use pointer(*) to dynamically allocate memory
on the C/C++ unmanaged heap

we use tracking handle(^) to dynamically allocate memory
on the CLR managed heap

3. the difference between

stack semantic vs. heap semantic

ref class ManagedClass{};

{ // local scope

// stack semantic
ManagedClass mc;

// reference semantic means dynamic allocation
// on the managed heap
ManageClass^ hMc = gcnew ManagedClass;

Leptonica Tutorial #4 - How to use Smoothing and Show Edges using Leptonica

In this video I show you how to use the half edge function and thresholding using the Leptonica 1.74.1 library. You can use the Leptonica library in conjunction with Tesseract 4.0 and OpenCV for OCR. Some of these include license plate recognition as well as image and object tracking applications.

OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) is an open source computer vision and machine learning software library. OpenCV was built to provide a common infrastructure for computer vision applications and to accelerate the use of machine perception in the commercial products. Being a BSD-licensed product, OpenCV makes it easy for businesses to utilize and modify the code.
The library has more than 2500 optimized algorithms, which includes a comprehensive set of both classic and state-of-the-art computer vision and machine learning algorithms. These algorithms can be used to detect and recognize faces, identify objects, classify human actions in videos, track camera movements, track moving objects, extract 3D models of objects, produce 3D point clouds from stereo cameras, stitch images together to produce a high resolution image of an entire scene, find similar images from an image database, remove red eyes from images taken using flash, follow eye movements, recognize scenery and establish markers to overlay it with augmented reality, etc. OpenCV has more than 47 thousand people of user community and estimated number of downloads exceeding 7 million. The library is used extensively in companies, research groups and by governmental bodies.
Along with well-established companies like Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Intel, IBM, Sony, Honda, Toyota that employ the library, there are many startups such as Applied Minds, VideoSurf, and Zeitera, that make extensive use of OpenCV. OpenCV’s deployed uses span the range from stitching streetview images together, detecting intrusions in surveillance video in Israel, monitoring mine equipment in China, helping robots navigate and pick up objects at Willow Garage, detection of swimming pool drowning accidents in Europe, running interactive art in Spain and New York, checking runways for debris in Turkey, inspecting labels on products in factories around the world on to rapid face detection in Japan.
It has C++, C, Python, Java and MATLAB interfaces and supports Windows, Linux, Android and Mac OS. OpenCV leans mostly towards real-time vision applications and takes advantage of MMX and SSE instructions when available. A full-featured CUDA and OpenCL interfaces are being actively developed right now. There are over 500 algorithms and about 10 times as many functions that compose or support those algorithms. OpenCV is written natively in C++ and has a templated interface that works seamlessly with STL containers.
Leptonica is a pedagogically-oriented open source site containing software that is broadly useful for image processing and image analysis applications.
Featured operations are

Rasterop (a.k.a. bitblt)
Affine transformations (scaling, translation, rotation, shear) on images of arbitrary pixel depth
Binary and grayscale morphology, rank order, and convolution
Seedfill and connected components
Image transformations combining changes in scale and pixel depth
Pixelwise masking, blending, enhancement, arithmetic ops, etc.
Ancillary operations include

I/O for standard image formats
Utilities to handle arrays of image-related data types
Utilities for generic stacks, queues, heaps and lists; and for byte queues and arrays of numbers and strings
Example applications include

Octcube-based color quantization, with and without dithering
Modified median-cut color quantization, with and without dithering
Skew determination of text images
Segmentation of page images with mixed text and images
jbig2 unsupervised classifier
Border representations of 1 bit/pixel images and raster conversion for SVG
PostScript generation (levels 1, 2, 3) of images for device-independent output
PDF generation (levels 1, 2) of images for device-independent output
Dewarping images of text taken with a camera
Book-adaptive text recognition
Rendering text on an image
Connectivity-preserving thinning and thickening of 1 bit/pixel images
Line removal from a grayscale sketch
Search for least-cost paths on binary and grayscale images

Flutter NoSQL Database – SEMBAST Tutorial (w/ BLoC)

???? Learn from the written tutorial & get the project files ????????

????‍???? Do you write good code? Find out now ????

SEMBAST package:

Persistently storing data in Flutter is not one of the easiest experiences if you're just starting out. If you want to move beyond simple Preferences, which are only key-value pairs, you are probably looking at a library like SQFLite. The problem with this library is that it's very low level and maybe you really don't need to use structured data. What about NoSQL in Flutter?

In this tutorial you're going to learn about SEMBAST (Simple Embedded Application Store) which is a very powerful, yet simple to use library for storing, querying, ordering, paginating and even encrypting data.
