- Tim Cook, Richard Branson, and tons of other successful people are early birds, right? So from that moment on, my alarm was set for 5:30 in the morning.
- Next up was meditation. Doing this practice in the morning allows you to connect with yourself and kick-start your day with positive energy.
- After that, it's good to do an easy 2- to 3-minute workout.
- Practicing meditation also didn't go so smoothly at the beginning. After trying numerous apps and techniques, I found that simple breathing works best for me.
- Having a quick workout wasn't a problem for me. Moreover, it really helped me get in touch with my body and shake off some of the tiredness before showering.
- Making to-do lists for the day turned out to be exceptionally fulfilling and motivating. By day 10, I’d begun to make 2 lists a day: one for my personal goals and another for work tasks and responsibilities.
- About halfway through my experiment, I got into time management, which turned out to be another amazing discovery for me!
- When I found ways to upgrade my career, I turned to my personal life and added one more habit to my routine: writing morning pages. This endless stream of consciousness opened my eyes to numerous personal problems I never realized I had.
- Make it a habit to write down all the things you're grateful for every evening.
- Stay hydrated. Toward the end of my experiment, I read that having a glass of water before breakfast helps to wake up your digestive system and set it up nicely for the day.
- Make yourself a smoothie. Natural smoothies are full of the nutrients and vitamins that your body needs as it wakes up.

I Adopted Rich People’s Habits, See How My Life Changed

Learn the secrets of success from those who built their own empires from scratch. You can try adopting the habits of super rich people and see how it will help you save money.
Successful people are rarely night owls; they go to bed and wake up quite early. So this was the first habit I decided to take on. By the end of the first week, I noticed that I was able to do way more before noon than I could ever do during the whole day. One more week into the experiment I started waking up completely well-rested and excited to start a new day. Self-made successes swear by exercising every day for at least 30 minutes. After just 10 days, it already became a habit. I became more concentrated and calmer.
If meditating helps successful people stay on top of their game, it should help me out too. Networking is like currency for successful people.
A lot of successful people (like Steve Jobs, for instance) keep a super minimalistic approach to fashion, often wearing the same outfit every day. Truly smart and successful people control their expenses and don’t spend their money on useless things.

Conclusion 8:08

-With will power of steel, I decided to wake up at the same time every day and come to work an hour early. It took me 3 days to get the schedule right.
-The hardest part here wasn't even the gym itself, it was exercising after working all day. After just 10 days, it already became a habit. I started sleeping better and waking up easier.
-Meditation turned out to be a really good way to get my head straight and renew my energy.
-Even though I didn’t manage to tackle all my tasks, I was able to do more things in the first week than I did during the entire previous month.
-I learned to find common ground with people from the get-go, met a lot of extraordinary individuals, and made some really good friends.
-I carried a book with me at all times and read it on the way to work and back home or during lunch. As a result, by the end of the first month, I had finished my fourth book.
-I no longer had to waste time every day choosing my outfit, deciding whether or not it matched or if it was trendy and whatnot.
-I started out by making a list of everything that I bought every day so that I could see what I spent my money on. This system helped me save 40% of my salary in the first month and almost 60% in the second.
-New habits really did completely change my life for the better.

8 Habits Poor People Do And Rich Don't

How to become rich and successful without working hard? In some sense, poverty isn't a lack of money but a particular life program that people create in their mind. Here're 8 habits of a poor person as well as the reasons that can prevent you from getting rich and living a wealthy life.

If you stop working, you won't be able to support your habitual lifestyle for longer than 3 months. 1:02
You are in a constant search for sales. 1:52
It takes you more than an hour to get to work. 2:46
You have some bills that you can hardly pay. 3:46
You aim for immediate profit. 5:19
You spend money before you have earned it. 6:11
You have drifted away from your family. 7:26
You expect that the government will change your life for the better. 8:15

There are numerous examples when a poor person became rich without any family support or a substantial inheritance. In other cases, people had all personal qualities and possibilities necessary to earn a lot but they were too unsure of themselves to take the first step. If you feel that you're one of such people, don't get desperate.
- Create a so-called financial safety cushion. To do this, put some money aside every month. What is even better, try to find a source of passive income: it can be an investment in real estate, shares, or securities.
- If you always look for price tags with a magic word discount on them or try to buy goods only at sales, you have another habit of a poor person. The same goes for buying cheap things.
- The best thing you can do is to find an accommodation close to your work or figure out a way to spend as little time as possible to get there. If both options are unacceptable, use the time you spend on the way effectively: studying foreign languages or reading career-related books.
- If you pay loans for your mobile phone, car, furniture, and even traveling, something has gone wrong. There's a rule that says that debt payments shouldn't be more than 40 percent of your earnings.
- It's better to accept a job offer from a serious company with a lower starting salary: this will give you an opportunity to build a career and earn much more after some time. Don't concentrate on the sum of money you'll get after the first months of work. Think globally.
- Banks have pretty long periods during which you don't have to pay interest fees. However, this is just one more clever psychological trick.
- You'll be surprised how many people believe that they can achieve something worthy only acting on their own, separated from their family. But in fact, the situation is opposite: a person can't build a successful career or start a profitable business without a support of their family.
- Poor people often believe that while they have been working for all their life, the government should pay them more than enough when they retire. They count on social security to support them after they stop working. And exactly here there's a difference between poor and rich people. While people with low income spend most of their money on housing, those who have high income invest in retirement expenses and insurance, according to the data provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Summary

Thanks for watching - please subscribe!
Part 2 -

The 7 habits of highly effective people summary:

This book, the 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey, has touched millions of people's lives – it's one of, if not THE, most well know success books out there. There are literally 1000's of success books out there, so why should this one be any different? Stephen Covey researched the last 200 years of success literature and found something interesting.. In the last 50 years, most of the books have been focused on the personality ethic - Things like public image, how you dress, how you perform in social interactions, positive mental attitude, skills and techniques to get people to behave in certain ways. These books focus on how to appear rather than how to actually be.

The 7 habits of highly effective people takes an inside out approach – it focuses on the character ethic rather than the personality ethic.

1 - be proactive
2 - begin with the end in mind
3 - put first things first
4 - think win win
5 - seek first to understand then to be understood
6 - synergy
7 - sharpen the saw

- There are a lot of ways you can do it. Close your eyes, and visualize your dreams. Try to pay attention to every little detail.
- Start writing your thoughts and ideas into a diary. It’d be really awesome if you try to do it the old-fashioned way. Ya know, with a pen and paper.
- Read all kinds of books, watch movies and documentaries, get out and see the world or even your home town.
- You also have to be ready to change some details of your plans or to compromise if it’s really necessary.
- Try to think about it like, “What job would I choose if I didn’t need a job at all?” It must be something that helps you accomplish your goals and unlock your potential.
- Find your own, even better way of doing things! Creating new approaches will give you a new perspective on old problems and help you find more effective solutions.
- You must always remember why you’re working toward something. Here’s a hint: you’re doing it for yourself! Don’t wait until other people start noticing you or showering you with praise.
- If you’re constantly being criticized for an idea, then don’t take it personally but also don’t ignore it entirely! If it’s constructive criticism (that is, it has some kind of logical backing), then think of it as free advice!
- Don’t even bother trying to avoid mistakes. They’re inevitable because you’re human. Think of it as a necessary part of the learning process. Turn your failure into wisdom.
- “Will I succeed or not? Am I the right person for this? Maybe I should just give up?” That’s why you have to just turn off your brain, and silence these thoughts. All they do is put you under a bunch of pressure and stress you out.

FIRST: Create Short, and Long Term Goals.
Here’s the thing…you can’t expect to get what you want, or to achieve anything in particular, without having a direction. You NEED to be clear about what you want, and by KNOWING what that is, you’ll be better able to get there. BUT, at least for me…sometimes Long Term Goals just seem too distant to provide any sort of urgency. hat’s why you NEED to ALSO create short term goals…these should be goals for the week, or for the month, or something that’s so close by so that you have an URGENCY in getting it done.

Just like when you create your short and long term goals…your DAILY TO-DO LIST is going now to be the holy grail of your entire day. And with this, understand Parkinson’s Law: Your work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion. So begin implementing deadlines as to when each task needs to get completed…and magically, you’ll be able to get everything done that much faster.

THIRD: Meditation
Prior to a few months ago, I thought the whole thing was bogus, and I just didn’t get it. But I gotta say, the first time I really gave it an honest shot with an open mind…something just clicked. So, over the last few months, I’ve been meditating twice per day, almost every single day, for 15 minutes each…and it’s made such a difference. What was first this stupid, pointless thing…is now something I really look forward to, that brings me a lot of creative, positive thoughts once I’m able to tune out all the clutter of my mind, and all the worry of everything that needs to get done.

FOURTH: A consistent sleep schedule
It turns out, though - scientifically - our bodies do BEST with that type of consistency, of going to bed - and waking up every single day at the exact same time. You’ll find that your body adapts to whatever schedule you give it - and when you throw that balance out of wack - your body’s chemistry works in overdrive to compensate for that. Studies have also found that irregular sleep schedules lead to poorer performance, weaker memory, and a worse QUALITY of sleep when you DID go to sleep.

FIFTH: Exercise and going to the gym
I’ve found that there’s nothing that makes you feel better, that gets you more motivated, that brings you more energy, that gets you more clear headed - than going to the gym and working out. Not only that, but the HEALTH benefits of going to the gym on a regular basis are IMMEASURABLE.

SIXTH: Get in the daily habit of NOT procrastinating.
It’s called The 2 Minute Rule. Here’s the concept: MOST things we stress about and procrastinate on, really don’t take THAT much time to do. So, the 2 minute rule suggests that whatever you can do in 2 minutes or less, you should get done IMMEDIATELY. Whether it’s a text message you were meaning to send, or replying to an email, or even just cleaning up after yourself…don’t postpone it…if it’s 2 minutes or less, just go and do it right now.

SEVENTH: Being Consistent, Daily
Trust me, without consistency - everything above is pointless. Don’t waste your time creating goals, pushing yourself at the gym, meditating, and creating a sleep schedule - if you’re just going to dabble with it here and there, stop for a little bit - then come back to it later, and quit again…you’re just not going to see results, it’s going to be frustrating, and it’s not going to end well. Beyond ANYTHING…ALL of this fails if you don’t stay consistent with it because consistency is like the GLUE that holds all of this together.

Rich People Think Different, I Adopted Rich People's Habits

I'm done! It's really time to take control of my life. I want to drive a cool car, travel once a month, take care of my friends and family, and enjoy every day! I’m sure I have enough motivation and patience. So I'm gonna introduce Rich People's Habits into my life.

And the first thing I'm gonna do is get up early. Okay, 5 a.m. This isn't as popular as getting up at 6 a.m., but not too early either. So, what's the reason for the early rise? The sounds of a sleeping city, the beginning of dawn, it's fascinating. Waking up so early, you have the opportunity to charge yourself with energy and confidence for the whole day. Just don’t fall asleep again!

- I prefer yoga and I spend at least 30 minutes doing it. A beautiful and healthy body isn't the main reason for training. For me, it's a psychological tone. Abs and tightened muscles are a nice bonus.
- You can take a regular shower, but I choose the hard way. It's very beneficial for the body. Turn on hot water, and the blood vessels expand; turn on the cold, and they narrow down, improving blood circulation.
- There are thousands of lessons about meditation on the Internet. I won't bore you with details, here’s just a quick overview. I sit in the lotus position, keeping my back straight, turn on the timer for 15 minutes and just follow my breath.
- No habits will work if I eat poorly. I’ve started eating oatmeal with some muesli, as well as looking on the Internet for healthy recipes.
- I open a truly important and useful book. Whether it’s fictional or educational doesn’t matter.
- I write down the main tasks for the day. In fact, they should be just small parts of my huge plans and goals. Something abstract and faraway, like My goal is to be rich and successful, won’t do the trick.
- I put my clothes into the closet by category. At the same time, I throw and give away stuff that I don't need anymore. My clothes are not fashionable or stylish, but they’re comfortable for me personally.
- At the beginning, I could just record how much money I spent on groceries each day. Over time, this habit would allow me to collect money for my travels quickly and correctly.
- I'd learn how to choose profitable investments, organize passive income and much more about economy stuff.
- I wasn’t about to waste time listening to music or viewing photos on social networks on my way to work. I started listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
- Honestly, sometimes I’m afraid of meeting new people. But thanks to my newfound awareness and acquired habits, my fear has finally passed.
- I shouldn’t do anything that can make me go to bed late. It's better to open a book, let the air into the room, take a shower, and go to sleep no later than 10 p.m.
- All in all, the first few days of my new life were easy for me. I was full of energy and cheerfulness. After a week came laziness and apathy, but I was prepared. I just had to make myself go on with all the good habits, even when it seemed too much.

12 BEST Habits Of Rich People!

Top traits of rich people! Here are the habits of successful people and the traits of millionaires and all of the things rich people do so you can see how to become successful!

9. Meditate

What do Rupert Murdoch, Arianna Huffington and Oprah all have in common, besides a billion dollars? They all meditate. People are hesitant to meditation, because they think it's a waste of time or boring. Their loss. Ray Dalio attributed a lot of his fortune in life to meditation stating, Meditation, more than anything in my life was the biggest ingredient of whatever success I've had. It is no wonder when you consider the universal benefits regular meditation has been shown to produce. Among other things, meditation adds more hours to your day, improves brain function, helps you have a better nights sleep and increases your attention span. With the amount Smartphone apps created solely for meditation, there is no excuse not to commit to even just 10 minutes a day. You will be surprised at the results.

8. Know When to Say No

As Warren Buffet says, The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything. You have most likely been told to try and say yes more in order to live a fulfilling life or even just to improve your networking skills, but this is not the case for the financially inclined individual. People who succeed have a singular focus. They know when to say no to someone, because they are able to identify it as a waste of their time. This does not always mean saying no to people trying to divert their workload, it also could mean saying no to a bad habit. If you have a bad habit of sleeping or playing too much video game, you need to learn how to say no to these impulses. Have a goal in mind, and only say yes to activities that will increase your productivity.

People don’t become successful by doing what everybody else is doing. They do so by understating that daily habits can make or break their chance at success and that developing positive ones make all the difference.

Habits are serious of choices you make every day that can affect your life over time. The good news is that you have the power to change them. Take your time. Keep at it. Success is not something that happens once. It is constant. Your life will change for the better when you improve the things you do every day.
