I wanted to share with you all the things that helped me lose the baby weight so soon. Loosing the baby weight during the first 40 days postpartum was very important to me and thanks to my Moms help I was able to drop the baby weight in just two weeks !! waaatttt ? crazy right ? But my baby is almost 3 months now and I have been able to manage to lose more weight on my own with no help. Having a support system is a big plus, but its not necessary if you're truly serious about losing the baby weight. Nothing is impossible loves ! I am not at my GOAL weight but I am closer today than I was yesterday and that in itself is a huge motivation. ***Stay tuned for part 2 ****

Hi everyone! My name is Lauren, and I’m a 24 year old vlogger. I’ve been married for three years to my husband Corey. We started TTC (trying to conceive) right after we got married and have struggled since then with starting our family. In October 2015, we lost our first baby (a little girl that we named Blair) due to a rare chromosomal abnormality called Triploidy. Since then we have experienced 4 miscarriages in addition to losing Blair, but were finally blessed with our first rainbow baby, Brody, in May of 2017. Postpartum Return To Running
Join Dr. Amanda Olsen, DPT, PRPC, and Physiotherapist Jeanice Mitchell PT, MPT, WCS, BCB-PMD, as they discuss the postpartum return to running.
Amanda completed her doctorate degree in physical therapy, and began her career as a pediatric neurology specialist. In 2008, she endured a personal and tragic accident while on a camping trip with her husband and friends. She sustained a dislocation to her coccyx and significant damage to the muscles, tendons and ligaments of her pelvic floor after a 40 foot fall. Fortunately, Amanda saw a pelvic physical therapist who used a comprehensive evaluation, manual techniques and exercises to completely cure her within six months. She healed without further issues, and went on to deliver two baby boys naturally.
The next year, she shifted her focus from pediatrics to pelvic physical therapy. Dr. Amanda spent seven years studying to become a physical therapist and four additional years earning her CAPP-PF (Certification of Advanced Practitioner Practice in Pelvic Floor) by the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Amanda was also one of the first 33 people in the nation to pass the PRPC (Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification) board certification through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Institute.
Dr. Amanda’s expertise combined with the innovation of Aaron Wilt, CEO of Intimate Rose, resulted in the creation of the Intimate Rose dilators and pelvic wand. Using his original proprietary medical grade silicone which she acknowledged was a “game changer”, together they knew the dilators and wand could advance and support millions of women in pain.

Getting in Shape After Baby
As the mother of newborn twins, Lisa Moss is used to running around. But it's different than what she was accustomed to.
My husband and I do triathlons and marathons. The year I got pregnant I ran the Boston marathon.
Nine months carrying two babies took a toll on her body.
For so many months I hadn't had the opportunity to run obviously I gained like 42 pounds, says Lisa.
As new moms settle into their new role, thoughts usually turn to getting rid of the baby weight. The first ten pounds should be pretty easy.
You're going to lose weight because all that extra fluid that was around when you were pregnant with the baby, within a couple weeks you're going to lose a lot of that extra fluid, says Dr. Melissa Lee, an obstetrician with Lee Memorial Health System.
Breast feeding moms get an added weight loss bonus.
Anywhere between 300 and 500 calories. And if you're breast feeding three or four times a day that's 1,000 to 2,000 calories that you can be losing right there, says Dr. Lee.
As for exercise, everyone should be up and moving, but not in a race to get fit.
They have to realize their limitations, they can't be running 12 miles the first time they're back out, their body won't allow it, says Dr. Lee.
Women who had C-sections need extra time to heal.
We don't recommend any heavy aerobic exercise until at least six weeks after delivery, says Dr. Lee.
Lisa is working on her comeback.
Since I've started doing this walking-running routine I've dropped some of my afternoon naps just because I feel like I have more energy.
For anyone that is wanting to lose weight after delivery she has to realize it took her nine months to gain the weight and its going to take time to lose the weight again, says Dr. Lee.
The lesson for new moms trying to get fit, start with baby steps.
