The art of sound mixing blew Manny Marroquin away when he was only 15 years old. Manny Marroquin, who is based in Larrabee Studio today, has been mixing music for 25 years and explains how his successful career in the music industry started. His teacher in art school taught him incredible methods with which he could change the emotion of sound. His first major breakthrough came when he was asked to make a rough mix during a night shift as an assistant engineer.

Josh Gudwin (Justin Bieber, Rihanna) | Full Sail University
Josh Gudwin is a four-time Grammy-winning mix engineer, record producer, vocal producer, and musician, as well as a veteran of the U.S. Marines.
After graduation, Josh began his career at Record Plant Studios in Hollywood, CA, as an assistant engineer. He was soon promoted to session engineer, which earned him credits with many major label artists including T-Pain, T.I., Keyshia Cole and Lionel Richie. In 2008, Josh began working with five-time Grammy-winning songwriter and vocal producer Kuk Harrell, which allowed Josh to serve as an engineer for superstars including Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Jennifer Lopez. In 2013, Josh went to work for Justin Bieber as an exclusive vocal producer. Josh and Justin have completed eight projects together, including the acclaimed album ‘Purpose,’ on which Josh served as a producer, A&R, composer, mixer, and more.
Josh continues to work with artists spanning the world of pop and Latin music. His recent credits include record-breaking singles “Despacito” (the Justin Bieber Remix) and “New Rules” by Dua Lipa, as well as full albums by Juanes, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin. In 2019, Josh took home a Grammy for his mix on Silk City, Dua Lipa “Electricity” ft. Diplo and Mark Ronson.
