Living with Sloth Bears (Hindi) A Film by Wildlife SOS

Sloth bears (Melursus ursinus) are one if the most feared animals in jungles of India, Nepal and Sri Lanka due to their “unpredictable behavior” and propensity to attack humans. They are responsible for several hundred attacks annually which can leave their victims seriously injured or even dead. These attacks often lead to the retaliatory killings of sloth bears or at the very least an extreme dislike of the species. This film was created by Wildlife SOS in the hopes of curtailing the number of attacks, and by doing so helping people and bears. Most of the footage was shot at the Wildlife SOS Bannerghatta Bear Rescue Centre. We are grateful to the Director of the Film, Thomas Rowell, for working with Wildlife SOS on this project, and we encourage viewers to visit our website to see other conservation projects Wildlife SOS is involved in.

This film was produced by Brother Mountain, brought to you by Utah's Hogle Zoo with support from Columbus Zoo and The Alongside Wildlife Foundation. The project was supported by a storytelling grant from the National Geographic Society.

leopard attack residents in city | Leopard rescue

leopard attack residents in city | Leopard rescue

Aap ne leopard attack on dog, animal fight club, animal vs human videos and wild animal, or wild life ke videos dekhe honge or vahi or bhi leopard attacks vide, lion attacks video, tiger attacks video bhi dekhe hinge par ye video bahut hi alag he isme ks wild animal ka resqu or Attack dono dekhne ko milega

We have heard repeatedly that due to the intervention of humans in the forests, dangerous animals like wild animals like lion, pyre, leopard come to the cities in search of food and water and enter the residential areas. Where they panic and attack humans.

A similar incident happened in Indore as a leopard roamed and came and attacked 3 human beings due to being hungry and scared. Then the Treasury's rescue operation was carried out by the Forest Department and the Zoo Management

Due to the interference of humans in wildlife, they have started to threaten the wild animals living in them. Now people have to understand that we should not interfere in the wild life. If we enter the house of these animals then the wild animals will also enter our houses

Mom Won’t Wakeup!! FAMiLY SLEEPS IN! Morning Makeover from Adley! dad helps us get ready routine

is asleep mom more fun than awake mom?? ????

LET'S BE FRIENDS --

HEY EVERYBODY!! So we might have slept in a little bit!! The vlog showed up at our house and knocked on the door and when dad answered he realized that the alarms didn't go off and everyone was still asleep!! He rushed upstairs and frantically told everyone to wake up!! He first came into my room and tried to wake me but I was having great dreams where I was dancing and playing with Bluey!! He couldn't wake me up so he ran over to Niko's room and tried to wake him up but he was having good dreams about dinosaurs! Luckily dad didn't give up and Niko finally awoke!! He asked my brother Niko if he could help him waking me up and Niko was excited to try this new challenge! Niko ran and got the Lava button so he could turn the floor into lava!! That was enough craziness to wake me up and now we had to get mom up!! We ran over to her room and tried to wake her but she was so asleep!! Since she didn't wake up we thought it would be funny if we got her ready for the day! We brushed her teeth, did her makeup, and rolled her downstairs to feed her!! We finally got her to wake up when we brought our baby sister Navey to her!! This was so fun and it's a reminder to now sleep in at our house!!

A TORTURED PAST: SAVING INDIA'S DANCING BEARS

This Father’s Day, give a gift that will save lives.

We are currently caring for nearly 300 rescued bears at the sanctuaries across India, but now more than ever, they need help. Please virtually adopt a rescued bear this Father’s Day to give them all the love they so desperately deserve:

The video below was filmed in 2003 when bears were still being tortured on the streets for human entertainment. We are so proud that with our partners Wildlife SOS and Free the bears, we were able to end this cruelty for good.

But we will never forget all that the beautiful bears have been through. They have suffered so much and we made a promise to each and every one that the rest of their days would be filled with nothing but love, honey and peaceful naps.

The global pandemic has hit us all hard and we know that our partners at Wildlife SOS have been doing everything they can to keep the bears safe, healthy and well fed throughout it all.

By gifting a bear adoption to a loved one this Father’s Day, you can help ensure these beautiful bears are given all the love and care they deserve.

Our virtual adoptions make extra special gifts and are completely contact free. You will receive an email containing your personalised adoption pack (the pack includes: a personalised certificate, a photograph of your adopted bear, a fact sheet and exclusive updates on your animal’s progress).

Gift a virtual adoption today:

Thank you so much for your support.

Karuna

Karuna, Compassion it is...

In a world in turmoil caused by war, economic pressures and environmental problems, it is easy to forget that we are not the only species living and surviving on this planet.
Large scale interference by humans in the animal world and nature is causing immense suffering for animals and nature alike.
Compassion for all living beings is the driving force to rescue and rehabilitate animals in distress.

We hope that compassion expressed in action will create a new balance in the human-animal-nature relationship. This is in the interest of all living beings.

This film is about the Karuna Society for Animals & Nature, a not-for-profit animal rights organisation in south India that works to rescue and rehabilitate animals.

Karuna is a safe haven for animals in distress, providing first aid and shelter for street dogs, cats and other animals, many of whom have been either injured in accidents or have suffered cruelty and abuse. Cattle are rescued from illegal transport to slaughter and wildlife, including injured monkeys, deer, birds and sloth bears are rescued and cared for.
