My Scratch Built Life-size WALL-E

After seeing Wall-e in Theatres last summer, I decided that it would be a really cool little robot to build, and after building a few R2's in my time... figured it wouldn't be too difficult. My 3 year old daughter really loved the movie as well... so I decided that it would make the perfect Christmas Present for her. I began construction in September of 2008... and after working a few hours a week on him... managed to have him ready for Christmas morning. I estimate that I spent approx. $200 in materials... and probably 50-60 hours.
