he first week of September marks the National Nutrition Week in India. It is an annual event which was launched by the Ministry of Women and Child Development’s Food and Nutrition Board in 1982. It seeks to raise awareness about the importance of proper nutrition in a diet for a healthy body. A well-balanced diet that includes various essential nutrients plays a significant role in the growth and development of our mind and body; which is why health experts emphasize the importance of eating vegetables and fruits as a part of our daily intake.

भारत में हर साल सितंबर के पहले हफ्ते यानि 1 सितंबर से 7 सितंबर तक National Nutrition Week मनाया जाता है। महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय के खाद्य और पोषण बोर्ड ने साल 1982 में मानव शरीर पर पोषण के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से National Nutrition Week की शुरूआत की थी। सेहतमंद रहने के लिए शरीर को न्यूट्रीशन सही मात्रा में मिलने बेहद जरूरी होते हैं। तभी शरीर का बेहतर तरीके से विकास हो पाता है। नहीं तो व्यक्ति कुपोषण का शिकार हो जाता है। खासतौर पर बच्चों और महिलाओं में इसकी कमी देखने को मिलती है। National Nutrition Week के मौके पर डानिए किन पोषक तत्वों को अपनी डाइट में जरूर करें शामिल, जो होते हैं विटामिन और प्रोटीन से भरपूर।
