Rocket Bicycle World Record ǀ 333 km/h (207 mph) ǀ Rider: François Gissy

On November 7th of 2014, on the Circuit Paul Ricard located at Le Castellet in South of France, I have reached a speed of 333 km/h on a rocket-propelled bicycle, after only 4.8 seconds of acceleration. A velocity of more than 300 km/h on a skinny and completely stripped bicycle, this is amazing, and a bit crazy! Who thought that one day a daredevil on a bicycle, with a rocket under the saddle, could travel the quarter mile in less than 7 seconds?

Some data:
0 to 333 km/h in 4.8 seconds
Thrust: 4.51 kN / 460 kgf
Peak acceleration: 3.05 g
Average acceleration: 1.96 g
Peak deceleration at rocket shutoff (due to the aerodynamic drag): -1.4 g

ROCKET BIKE ridden by Eric Teboul @ 261 MPH | Santa Pod FIA MAIN EVENT 2017 [*UltraHD and 4K*]
Fastest bike on 2 wheels at the Santa Pod 'Main Event' 2017. This is the amazing rocket powered bike ridden by world famous Eric Teboul.

For the uninitiated, rocket-powered vehicles use thrust, created by the pressurization of the hydrogen peroxide, to power it to such incredible, instantaneous speeds. However, once lit, these engines will continue until they run out of fuel, making the fueling process an exercise with life or death consequences. Based on a number of factors, including atmospheric conditions, the teams will put just enough hydrogen peroxide into the tank to power the vehicle for the distance they need it to run, and not a millisecond more. In the case of Teboul, in order to provide enough time to safely stop the bike, only enough fuel was provided to run it to somewhere around 800-1,000 feet, which is clearly evident by the speed paired with the elapsed time, Make no mistake about it, if Teboul were to run the bike all the way to the scoreboards it would easily run into the four-second range at upwards of 300 MPH, if not more.

The World's FASTEST Motorcycle BREAKS world record!

Larry “Spiderman” McBride never ceases to amaze and has broken another Top Fuel Motorcycle world record with a must see run of 265 mph at the Man Cup Finals 2020 from NHRA sanctioned South Georgia Motorsports Park. We pick this video up with the thrilling Top Fuel Bike drag racing final between Mitch Brown and McBride after what has been a bizarre and unpredictable season of nitro motorcycle drag racing. In fact, for McBride it’s his first time out in more than year. Mitch was out once and was able to get some testing in, which helped lift him to his first 5 second pass earlier in the event. For McBride the team made major wheelie bar, chassis and Top Fuel Motorcycle engine changes over the off season. Both teams struggled with what was a very tricky race track than seemed to be over glued. With a weekend of nitro motorcycle data at their disposal, McBride and Brown face off in a Top Fuel Drag Bike final to remember. After we talk to McBride about what it felt like to run the fastest motorcycle drag racing pass of all time. Enjoy and share! What a race!

847 km/h On a Motorcycle | World's Fastest Motorcycles of All Time

Fastest Motorcycles in Worlds History

What do you know about Motocycles speed records ? in this video you won’t see the BMW S1000RR, Ducati panigale and Honda CBR1000RR, it’s looks a little bit boring. Instead, Today you are about to see The brightest moments in history of Motorcycle speed records. How it was when in 1907 daredevil sitting on his homemade airplane engine hit 219 kilometer on a Florida beach, Fastest Girl in the World, The Legendary Burt Munro and the Fastest Speed Ever registered on motorcycle. And here we ride.

Forget all you read about early car speed records. It’s January 24th 1907, and on a beach in Florida and a daring young man has just blasted across the sand at 219 kilometers per hour run on a V8-powered motorcycle of his own design.Curtiss remained the fastest man in the world, the title the newspapers gave him for going faster than any vehicle, on land, sea or air, until 1911, when his absolute record was broken by the Blitzen Benz automobile

John Buddenbaum, a metal fabricator and Eric Noyes, a NASA engineer set out to go very fast with a very small engine. john buddenbaum acsellerated to 233 killometers per hour setting the new world record with a 50 cc engine at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 2008

In his inaugural run at the Salt Flats in 1962 Munro set a world record of 288 km/h on his 850-CC engine. At the Salt in 1967 Burt were going like a bomb, He topped out at over 331 kilometers per hour, but that spill meant the run remained unofficial. Legendary rider - Burt Munro was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2006…..

434 Kilometer Per Hour. This is the KillaJoule – fastest electric motorcycle on Planet. And this Nice Girl is Eva Hakansson. She is a rider of this Daredevil machine. Acselerated 400 killometers per Hour Eva Hakansson set a new electric motorcycle speed record at Bonneville Salt Flats

Silver Bird was the first motorcycle in History that reached a speed over 300 miles per hour. It had two four-cylinder, 694.9 cc reed-valve two-stroke engines from the Yamaha TZ750 racebike., delivering 240 horsepower. Silver Bird ridden by Don Vesco hit the world record accelerated 480 killometers per hours at the Bonneville Speedway in 1975

The only way motorcyclists could go faster than 300 m.p.h. was by lying nearly flat on their backs inside a completely enclosed, custom-made streamliner bike — as much a rocket as a motorcycle. Mr. Warner competed in the conventional motorcycle class — a far more cost-effective one. He began reconfiguring his Suzuki Hayabusa in 2010

634 Killometers. On September 25, 2010. Powered by two 1,299 cc Suzuki Hayabusa turbocharged engines, which produce more than 900 horsepower, Dildo-shaped motorcycle named“Ack Attack” became the world's fastest motorcycle, by achieving an average speed, in both directions across a measured mile, of 605 km/h at the same Bonneville Salt Flats. But the Max registered speed was that same Unbelievable - 634 kilometer per hour.

And the Las One 847 kilometers.! The Spirit of America - was the first of the modern record breaking jet-propelled cars, Yep – Car, built with a narrow streamlined fuselage, three wheel chassis, and most significantly, turbojet engine. Like most of the other competing vehicles the engine was ex-military, the first Spirit had a General Electric J47 engine from an F-86 Sabre. Craig Breedlove set his first record on September 5, 1963 at Bonneville, the first man to set an average speed of over 640 km/h during a land speed record. At the time of Spirit of America's construction the (FIA) - Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, rules for a land speed record required a four wheel chassis. Spirit's record was thus not recognised as an official record by the FIA. But, The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) did recognise it however, classing Spirit as a three-wheeler motorcycle. Years Later Breedlove returned to Bonneville with Spirit and pushed the new record 846 km/h. Imagine he passed each 280 meters in only 1 seconds. Anyway, Spirit wasn't built for such speeds, passing 860 kilometer per hour, Spirit of America Broke two records more. First of which is : The highest speed in skidding - 650 killometers when the Spirit lost its parachute brakes. And the second: Longest skid marks in the world, Spirit skidded for 8 kilometers , through a row of telephone poles and crashed into a brine pond at around 320 km/h Drenched but uninjured, Breedlove climbed out of the cockpit. Two weeks after that in October 1964, Motorsport Federation changed the rules and The legendary Spirit of America became a car again. This was a story of the coolest motorcycle speed records and I hope you enjoyed watching this, thank you.

Top Fuel Nitro Motorcycle Import vs Harley - Larry Spiderman Mcbride 5.83et @ 232mph

Dragbike Live was on location at the Manufacturers Cup Finals held November 12-14 2010 at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Georgia when Top Fuel Nitro motorcycle legendary drag racer Larry Spiderman Mcbride against V-Twin Top Fuel Harley rider Tommy Grimes aboard the Ray Price Top Fuel Nitro entry met in the final round. Mcbride ran an incredible 5.830 elapsed time at 232.75 miles per hour for the win! This was a historic final round, marking the first time a V-Twin Top Fuel Nitro burner would face off against an import Top Fuel Nitro Methane injected drag bike.

The fearless Frenchman Eric Teboul and his rocket powered motorcycle have made history again, this time with a staggering 5.368 pass on the famous jet bike, surpassing Top Fuel Motorcycle legend Larry “Spiderman” McBride’s nitro bike world record of 5.50 set in Valdosta, Ga. Teboul’s liquid hydrogen peroxide powered motorcycle holds rocket bike / jet bike world record by a wide margin. In this video from legendary Santa Pod Raceway, we interview Teboul prior to his attempt at drag racing history, get a ton of information and specs on his rocket powered bike, explore how the jet bike does not have a throttle and there is no shutting it off once the reaction starts, flashback to the rocket bike record blast of 5.58 that got more than 12 million views on the Cycledrag Youtube channel and get Teboul to compare a Rocket Bike vs. a Top Fuel Motorcycle, as we learn Teboul spent many years on a Nitro Bike as well. Even with a 1/2 mile to stop, Eric has a difficult time bringing the rocket bike to a standstill from 260 mph. The jet bike is deemed to light for a parachute like we see on Top Fuel Bikes and Nitro Harleys. We take a look back at some of the funniest and nasty comments from our last rocket bike video and encourage more feedback below. Please like, comment and share with anyone who must see this!

Rocket Bicycle V Lamborghini World Record ǀ 333 km h 207 mph

New Rocket Bicycle record 285 km/h in Interlaken airport!

Last update (May 2014) / New project:
Exotic Thermo Engineering has just started the construction of a new rocket bicycle, with monstrous potential, that will excite all speed enthusiasts.
On October 7th 2013, in Switzerland, François Gissy hit a peak speed of 285 km/h in only 6.7 seconds with the help of a 300 kg thrust rocket engine which gives an initial acceleration of 2 g. This is an amazing performance for such a lightweight bicycle and without aero fairing. The future propulsion unit will produce 1,500 kg of thrust, five times more than the one currently used! The theoretical acceleration would reach 10 g and the 300 km/h mark would be attained in a little second! The bicycle will be designed to exceed 400 km/h. Obviously, it is not certain that the full power could be used, but we will do our best. Because of the enormous physical and aerodynamics constraints, the development of this rocket-propelled bicycle will be conducted with the assistance of an engineering school in Switzerland, and wind tunnel tests will be done.
To increase the spectacular effect and high tech level, the new propulsion unit will operate with vegetable oil. The result will be an impressive flame and a deafening noise.
The most powerful Top Fuel dragsters have an initial acceleration of 5.5 to 6 g. The quickest rocket-powered motorcycle in the world reaches 4.5 g. The best Top Fuel Motorcycles can accelerate up to 4 g at the start and the world's quickest Jet Dragsters (quarter mile in 5 seconds at 530 km/h) leave the start line up to 3.5 g.
Our goal is to upset this hierarchy on the acceleration level at the start, with a slim rocket bicycle without fairing.

The new bicycle will be ready in early 2015 for the 20th anniversary of our first speed record with a rocket-propelled bicycle.
We are open to any proposals for sponsorship. Do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for your attention.
