100 Deadly Skills By Former Navy Seal ~ Book Review

I found this book, 100 Deadly Skills by Clint Emerson to be fascinating and well worth reading. Clint Emerson is a former Navy Seal and he shares his survival and espionage knowledge in an easy to read fashion and the book is full of great illustrations. I have already put to use some of the military skill sets he mentions in his book. I recommend it.

If you need to pick a lock, evade capture or make a homemade conceal holster, I think you will like this book. The book is full of danger scenario's and how to avoid them or elude capture. If you want to learn some urban survival skills, get this book.

Here is a link to Amazon if you would like to read more reviews,

100 Deadly Skills Book Review
Can we get serious for a moment? Yeah, maybe we watch too many videos. Well, not my videos, but maybe y'all watched too many other people's videos. We need to smarten up every now and then. We don't want to be like this.

Today we're going to talk about a book that I recommend, 100 deadly skills by Clint Emerson. He's a former Navy seal. Now I saw the author, Clint Emerson plugging his book on some TV show. I don't remember what it was, but it looked pretty interesting.

He was giving examples of what the book was about. So I went to Amazon, checked it out. The book's only $12.34 cents at the time of this video. It was a no-brainer. So I ordered it and I have been really happy with the cool stuff that he has put in this book. The book is a very easy read. What I like about it.

It's full of awesome illustrations. How he normally does it is he gives you one page of explanation. And then the following page is full of illustrations. They're easy to understand, simple to follow, and there is some really cool stuff. For instance, #49. Surreptitiously unlatched door locks, #48 bypass a hotel room door, #47 impression a lock #46 clone a key. There's all types of skills and tricks that.

Your normal average non Seal person would never even think of. So I was fascinated watching some of this and I actually tried a couple things and it works amazingly. Let me show you what I did. Number 5 in the book is build an improvise concealment holster. I really thought that was cool.

You use a coat hanger to do it. And I used a little bit of duct tape. The only two things that I use and it works great. You basically build it to where part of the hanger goes up into the barrel and this hook part goes over your belt, loops to your waistband, and surprisingly, you can carry concealed with this.

The holster is just as good. And it feels just as comfortable as some of the high dollar concealment holsters.

Yes. This book is on the Adventure Outdoors approved list. I'll put a link in the description to Amazon where you can check it out, read more reviews. I'd definitely recommend it.

It's sitting on my stand beside my recliner most of the time. And when wifey is watching something boring on TV, I like to go through and read more of these 100 Deadly Skills because we all need deadly skills. Right. All right. I'm Steve at Adventure Outdoors. I'll see all of you in the next video.

GOOD TO KNOW IF YOUR BUDDIES HAZE YOU LIKE A SEAL

In the unlikely chance you find yourself tied up and thrown to the fish or a bachelor party gone bad - here are some tips:

1. Remain calm - panicking will increase energy consumption, prevent clear thought and tough to recover from once panic kicks in.

2. Be a problem solver - there are several ways to get out of a tricky situation - use your brain and start coming up with solutions in a timely manner.

3. Do not practice this alone - BUT practice it, you must. Just like anything waterborne - always have a buddy.

Don't drown, stay alive,

HOW TO REVERSE YOUR ASS OUT OF A BAD SITUATION!

You're at a complete stop and some prick (on foot or mobile) decides to make his way toward you. Whatever his intentions, there is no time to find out the rest. If there is a clear path in your rearview mirror, then the reverse 180 is perfect - from a complete stop to well on your way in a timely manner. Remember, increasing distance in any crisis - increases survivability.

Safety Reminder: Inflate tires 5-10 psi over max tire pressure to prevent rolling a tire off the rim. Keep speeds in reverse slow and work your way up to optimal maneuver speed - this will vary vehicle to vehicle.

Okay, enough typing - enjoy this skill!

KIDNAPPERS MOST COMMON RESTRAINT - DEFEATED!

Violent Nomads!

Abduction is a real threat to everyone, whether you're a super spy, housewife, student or business person - it can happen anywhere at anytime! The number one restraint used by bad guys across the planet is duct tape. Duct tape is cheap and can be purchased anywhere, globally. If you find yourself all wrapped up - here's a technique that could save your life.

On a side note - practice, practice, practice. In the bedroom or at a party, practice could be entertaining in different ways :)

Okay, enough typing - master this skill!
