The results are promising although the sight in question was moving around just enough to cause minor issues. We will revisit this subject in the near future

In this video we shoot and discuss the Egyptian Hakim chambered in 8mm Mauser. These rifles were based off the Swedish AG-42 Ljungman and were built to utilize the massive stockpiles of 8mm ammunition the Egyptians owned post WW2. The Hakim differs slightly from the AG-42 in that it features an adjustable gas system and a more substantial muzzle break to combat recoil from the more powerful 8mm cartridge. This particular example was produced in 1960 and is just an absolute joy to shoot as you will see. Stay tuned, much more military surplus content inbound.

PSL Muzzle Brake Test

In this video i test out 3 different muzzle brakes on a Romanian PSL.

PSL VIDEO

Deactivated Romanian PSL Druganov Sniper Rifle in very good deactivated condition with fully moving bolt (under spring pressure), moving trigger and safety and removable magazine. Working PSO Scope, with excellent optics, scope cover and correct sling. This is the Romanian version of the legendary soviet Druganov. They are beautifully made and finished and are a very good designated marksman rifle. They fire the powerful 7.62mm 1891 Russian Nagant round and are capable of hitting and killing a man sized target out to a 1000 metres. The scopes are also very good. As well as being very tough they have lots of soldier friendly features that allow the marksman to accurately estimate range and calculate windage. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold a London or Birmingham proof mark and certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
