Science a step closer to test that can prove you are in love

We may now be a step closer to discovering what love is, thanks to a scientific study that has obtained the first empirical evidence of love-related alterations in the brain.

What does fMRI measure?

Oxygen is delivered to neurons by haemoglobin in capillary red blood cells. When neuronal activity increases there is an increased demand for oxygen and the local response is an increase in blood flow to regions of increased neural activity.

Love's all in the brain: fMRI study shows strong, lateralized reward, not sex, drive

You just can't tell where you might find love these days. A team led by a neuroscientist, an anthropologist and a social psychologist found love-related neurophysiological systems inside a magnetic resonance imaging machine.

Generally speaking, there are two types of guys: The players and the unicorns. Now you might be thinking. What’s between the player and unicorn. There’s no in-between. You either got played or you didn’t. The unicorns are normally their first love and they stick to their partner until they die. The guy become a player when they have been through more than one relationship. Make sense? Because they’ve already played around. Get it. Okay... Anyway, each male archetype goes through a totally different process. The key is to realize that the players, might have a harder time falling in love when they have played over 10 different versions of the game. If you know they have a history of playing games, your best bet is to proceed with caution and use protection. But hope is out there! Let’s say you do find someone. - If you feel attracted to your partner but there’s not a genuine connection, it’s just infatuation. And let’s be honest here: Sometimes you fall not for the person but the idea of love.
- Another point to consider is jealousy. If you keep getting jealous of your partner, even in innocent everyday situations, it’s a sign that something is off.
- A healthy loving relationship develops naturally. You both enjoy the process of building your relationship at a slow but steady pace, and you don’t feel the urge to rush things because every moment is precious.
- A deep attachment for someone makes you feel secure and strong. You don’t have a panic attack every time something goes wrong or not according to plan because you know that the bond holding you both together is not that easy to break.
- True love is about learning to communicate, compromise, and accept the fact that your relationship will have ups and downs.
- When you’re truly in love, you gain an amazing source of inspiration that changes your life for the better. You want to be the best version of yourself and create a better life.
- Love isn’t supposed to make you suffer. It doesn’t drain your energy but gives it to you. A true, deep attachment should make you feel comfortable and at ease — not tired and overwhelmed.
- When you really love someone, you see them for who they actually are — the good and the bad — and love them anyway.
- A crush can involve strong and intense emotions, but they never last long. Way too quickly they are replaced by loss of interest — while love is capable of passing the test of time. Moreover, it only gets stronger and deeper.

Get it Girl By Jared Brady

Start out by staring intently at someone: notice their pupils - are they dilated, their body language - is it open to you, their movements - do they mirror yours?
Ask them questions about themselves: intimate inquiries that dive into their victories and vulnerabilities.
Exemplify that you are trustworthy, reliable and most importantly that you are self full. Not to be mistaken with selfish
Touch them #NoWeinstein.Touch their hands, their wrists, when you hug them graze the edges of their face. Make sure they can smell you (obvious note make sure you smell good but not this kinda good - your own natural kinda good. Pro note smelling like something familiar can create a memory association so instead of a foreign fragrance consider a signature but familiar scent
Moving on now for the fun part. Kiss. Taste their spit, exchange detailed information about your DNA for theirs, Notice your intuition, you have been programmed to read a lot about a person from this single exchange - let the force inside guide you. Also, get a sense of how and upheld confident they are how safe you feel in their arms.Don’t stop at one, now isn’t the time to be polite.

How much time do we have left? Oh we wasted most of it on the kiss, okay let’s speed this up
Everytime you see them smile - make the first moments with you rewarding and addicting
Make eye contact a lot, ask a lot of questions and LISTEN, studies show we only truly listen about 25% of the time we are being spoken to. Meaning 1) we gotta do better 2) when we do actually listen people notice!
What else? Do adrenaline-boosting activities together. After about 18 months your body stops automatically responding with spikes of dopamine and other adrenal chemicals to your lover. Meaning you’re on your own - and Netflix and chill wasn’t as thrilling as it used to be
Set hard boundaries in soft tones - no one wants a pushover or a bulldozer - you’ve gotta find and master that balance for yourself
and if we have time for one more love and adore yourself, continue to seduce and - know your value and don’t be afraid to let others know it too especially your lucky catch

Scientists Think a Parallel Universe Does Exist

The theory of multiple or parallel universes is one that blurs the line between scientific reality and science fiction. It’s a pretty huge topic of debate in the scientific community, with big names on both sides. If you believe that multiple universes exist, then maybe you can feel a little better about having the great genius physicist Stephen Hawking in your camp! He had a pretty spectacular theory on multiple universes.

This is the idea that everything you thought you ever knew – our planet, the solar system, our galaxy, all the other stars and galaxies out there as far as our fancy telescopes can see – it’s just one itsy bitsy piece of a really giant puzzle!

What a “multiverse” really is 1:26
There are infinite me’s and you’s each in their own universe 😱 2:25
What these universes look like 3:17
What would a parallel version of our world look like? 4:45
How to prove that? 5:32
How could you possibly travel to a different universe? 8:24

#sciense #universe #brightside

- Up until recent years, scientists were sure there was only one universe that contained everything known to humankind – hence the whole “uni” thing.
- This is now known as the Multiple Worlds theory. So how does it work? You can mostly visualize it like a flow chart that keeps branching off continuously.
- Some believe these universes are like bubbles, totally unseen by each other because, well, we just don’t have that kind of technology! There’s also the model that shows universes looking kinda like sheets of paper stacked on top of each other.
- So, what would a parallel version of our world look like? Well, some attributes of our universe may be different, while some are the same! For example, perhaps this parallel version of our planet has grass and trees and birds flying in the sky and whatnot.
- Anyway, before we travel to these worlds, we have to know they’re actually real. Proving or disproving their existence is no easy task.
- The idea is to blast a handful of subatomic particles through a 50-foot tunnel, past a really strong magnet, and into a wall at the end. If some of those particles come out as a mirror image of themselves on the other side, that means science has made a breakthrough of galactic proportions.
- In theory, some scientists believe the Big Bang that started it all could’ve been two universes colliding and forming a new one!
- How could you possibly travel to a different universe? Of course, we’re talking theoretical physics here, so there are plenty of theories! First off, there’s always wormholes!
- And, well, there’s always Stephen Hawking’s theory of how you can travel to another universe: all you have to do is jump into a black hole!

How To Make A Girl FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU? (BACKED BY SCIENCE) - New Year, New Girlfriend!

This video is how to make a girl fall in love with you INSTANTLY:

Love isn’t just a bunch of chemicals, but brain chemistry plays an important role in why we feel the way we feel about other people. And when we feel good things, there’s usually a lot of dopamine involved. Dopamine is the chemical the brain releases when people — women or men — experience any kind of pleasure, including love. Dopamine also increases the amount of testosterone the body produces. The increased testosterone is why people sweat when they’re around someone they’re in love with, and why people have a higher sex drives when love is new.

When women fall in love, their bodies also produces norepinephrine and phenylethylamine. These increase focus while creating a sense of euphoria. That’s why women often become focused on one man to the exclusion of other things when they’re falling in love. It’s why everyone, men and women, feels extra alert waiting for a text message, or why people have trouble sleeping or even thinking about anyone else.

Last, but certainly not least, is oxytocin. Oxytocin is released at various points, including during cuddling and sex. Women produce way more of it than men. (Men don’t produce it during orgasm, instead getting a rush of dopamine, which is why they’re we’re less likely to fall in love with someone just because we had sex.) Oxytocin breaks down emotional barriers, making people feel comfortable and getting them to “drop their guard.” Oxytocin is what creates that sense of attachment we feel to another person when we’re falling in love. When they’re not around, you’re not producing as much, and so you want more. That’s why we can sometimes feel “addicted” to the person we’re dating.

Dopamine, testosterone , oxytocin, norepinephrine and phenylethylamine all work together to create a feedback loop of love. Sexual pleasure and romantic attachment release the same bundle of chemicals. These chemicals make you give greater attention to their source, while also pushing you to seek out more of the same chemicals. Love (and sex, for that matter) work on the brain much like a drug.

But even if you knew how to get all her chemicals flowing in the right way, that still wouldn’t be enough to “make” her fall in love with you. Because love isn’t just chemicals. It’s also a function of personal history and preferences.

The simple act of touching and cuddling can make the two of you feel closer. Knowing what your chemicals are telling you to do unconsciously can help your conscious, rational mind to accelerate or put on the brakes as needed. Understanding her attachment style can help you give her what she needs in a relationship, or decide to find someone else if your attachment styles don’t match.

The science of what makes girls fall in love isn’t a magic spell or a Jedi mind trick. It’s the simple act of paying attention to habits, behaviors and preferences with an eye toward the role science plays in affairs of the heart. You can’t hack into her brain and make her fall in love with you, but you can use your knowledge of how the brain works to nurture and deepen attraction that’s already there. Given enough time and the right compatability, that attraction can blossom into love — in all its strange, unique, exciting complexity.

Your brain hallucinates your conscious reality | Anil Seth

Right now, billions of neurons in your brain are working together to generate a conscious experience -- and not just any conscious experience, your experience of the world around you and of yourself within it. How does this happen? According to neuroscientist Anil Seth, we're all hallucinating all the time; when we agree about our hallucinations, we call it reality. Join Seth for a delightfully disorienting talk that may leave you questioning the very nature of your existence.

Do Ear Candles Work To Remove Earwax? | Ear Candling Proof!

Do Ear Candles Work To Remove Earwax? | Ear Candling Proof!

Cliff Olson, Doctor of Audiology and founder of Applied Hearing Solutions in Anthem Arizona, tests ear candles (aka Hopi Ear Candles) and their ability to remove earwax. Until this point, there have been misleading “proof” videos that do not show before and after pictures of the actual ear canal.

Back in college I was a licensed massage therapist and it was generally accepted inside of the massage therapy world that ear candling was a great way to provide therapeutic relaxation. However, there were therapists that would take this too far and would make claims that it could also remove earwax, cure ear infections, and cure hearing loss.

The theory is that the warmth created by the burning candle would loosen earwax and other debris in the ear, and a suction effect created by the burning flame would pull the warm earwax or other infected material into the candle. On top of this, the crackling sound of the flame would provide a relaxing sensation.

Ultimately, these claims seemed too good to be true, but I’ve never seen proof that it actually works. I mean, I’ve seen the waxy substance left inside of the candle after burning, but never a before and after image of the ear canal.

So I decided to conduct an experiment. So I asked a patient, Heather, who is a retired nurse practitioner and founder of Arizona Healing Alternatives - – to let me see if ear candling actually works.

After performing two attempts at using ear candles to remove her earwax, there was wax inside of the candle, but no change in the wax inside of her ears. Visualization of the ear canal with video otoscopy doesn’t lie. The ear candles were unsuccessful at removing the cerumen/earwax from her ear canals.

Basically, if there really was a suction effect, it was not strong enough to pull the earwax from her ear. If it was strong enough, it probably would have ruptured her eardrum. The eardrum separates the outer ear canal from the middle ear and the inner ear, so it will not actually remove infected material from the middle ear or eustachian tube. If you did happen to have a hole in your eardrum, you would be more likely to drip hot wax into your middle ear space which would require surgery to remove.

Based on this research project, ear candling proves to be an ineffective way to remove earwax. It also puts you at a higher risk of catching your hair on fire, ear infection, and dripping hot wax into your ear.

If you want to use ear candling for relaxation purposes, knock yourself out, I’ll just stick to getting a massage.
