Ex Satanist John Ramirez Reveals Secrets of the Underworld

On this episode of Faith With Flavor I sat down with Ex-Satanist John Ramirez who reveals his experience with the powers of darkness and how Jesus saved him from hell. He was an Ex Warlock who grew up in the occult and was radically saved by Jesus Christ. My two biggest take aways from my interview with him was how much power there are in the words we say and how the prayers we pray make such a huge difference in the spiritual realm. Please watch, share with a friend, and subscribe!! XOXO -Donna Clayton

Side note: We experienced spiritual warfare while making this episode which is evident as you hear John speak. The wind kicks up heavily every time he gets ready to share. Please bear with this nuance as it was out of our control.

Sharon Tates Favorite Beauty Products You Can Still Buy Today

Hello, lovelies
Since everyone seemed to enjoy my first Sharon Tate video, I decided to create another video to talk about her favorite beauty products that she used to create her iconic makeup look. I also wanted to discuss her sense of style because she was light years ahead compared to other people in the 1960s. Even though she was popular in the 1960s, her look was very 1970s with her taste in fashion. She had a beautiful and natural look that represented that relaxed California girl. I created a Sharon Tate inspired look by using the same beauty products she used on her eyes and some newer versions of her favorite soft pink lipstick shade. She always put an emphasis on a natural face with a bronzed sun-kissed glow, so I wore a light foundation and highlighted my features with bronzer. I added a large amount of brown liner to emphasize this look for the camera. I quite like the natural Almay lip colors in contrast to the bold eyes. I watched a video on Youtube featuring Sharon Tates sister discussing how she did her makeup as a source of inspiration for this video. I also found this black shift dress from Shein that reminded me of Sharon Tate because she loved darker tones and sheer sleeves. I am excited to continue with this series and try new makeup looks inspired by Old Hollywood. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Farrah Fawcett's favorite beauty products you can still buy today

Hello lovelies, today I will be talking about Farrah Fawcett's favorite beauty products that you can still buy today. Farrah Fawcett was born on February 2, 1947, and passed away on June 25, 2009. She was an American actress of stage and screen and a model. She was a five-time Emmy Award nominee and six-time Golden Globe Award nominee. Fawcett rose to international fame when she starred as private investigator Jill Munroe in the first season of the television series Charlie's Angels (1976–1977).
When I think of the 1970s, I immediately think of Farrah Fawcett because she was such an influence on women's fashion and beauty in the 1970s. Farrah even had her hair care line and perfume in the 1970s and early 1980s. I was lucky enough to buy one of her hair styling tools on eBay and tested it out. It even has Farrah Fawcett on the box. I love the 1970s look of the styling device, but it is not as powerful as modern-day styling tools.

It was very challenging researching what beauty products Farrah used in her day to day life, but I did find a lipstick that was created after Farrah. The lipstick is in collaboration with Patrick Foley at Barneys New York. It is a beautiful sheer, silky, and glossy formula that gives the lips a youthful glow. It is the exact pink shade that Farrah Fawcett loved to wear. Nude Envie is carefully crafted using the finest ingredients. All products are paraben-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and gluten-free.

Farrah Fawcett Lipstick: Nude Envie

Farrah Fawcett wore Donna Karan DKNY Delicious, Giorgio Beverly Hill Giorgio.

Donna Karan DKNY Delicious:

The scent and packaging are inspired by NYC's nickname - “The Big Apple.” Launched in the US and Canada in 2004.
Top notes are grapefruit, cucumber, magnolia. Heart notes are apple, Tuberose, White Muguet, Rose, Violet. Base notes, White Amber, Woods.

Giorgio Beverly Hills Giorgio:

Giorgio Beverly Hills is an American brand founded by Fred and Gayle Hayman in 1961. Named after the luxury boutique whose sunny yellow and white striped awning inspired the perfume's packaging, the fragrance of the same name would go on to become one of the most iconic fragrances of the 1980s

The Giorgio, Beverly Hills fragrance, was launched in 1981 by Fred Hayman and then-wife Gale Hayman with a fanfare generally reserved for a major perfume house launch, and never before seen for an independent boutique brand. Love it or hate it, the fragrance captured the public's imagination in the 1980s and was perfectly suited to the era's glamorous and over-the-top fashions. Giorgio Beverly Hills was one of the first scents to be marketed via the new technology of scent strips, which enabled sales by direct mail. In 1987, the Giorgio Beverly Hills fragrance was sold to Avon for an astounding $165 million, and the boutique subsequently changed its name to Fred Hayman Beverly Hills.

Joan Crawford's Secret Old Hollywood Diet Uncovered

Hello lovelies, today I will be discussing Joan Crawford's old Hollywood diet.

There is an old article from the January 1929 issue of American magazine Photoplay. The article is titled Diet - The Menace of Hollywood. The writer Katherine Albery explains why eating like Joan Crawford and other period stars could be problematic.

'Diet!,' Albert writes. 'It has put one world-famous star in her grave, has caused the illness of many others, has wrecked careers and has become, largely through its practice in Hollywood, the Great American Menace!'

Albery compares the Holywood diet to a correct diet complied by one Dr. Willis 'from works of the most famous authorities on a diet'. The old Hollywood diet has a zero-calorie breakfast consisting of clear soup and two saltine crackers and a quarter of a pound of tomatoes for lunch totaling 138 calories. For dinner, the 1929 Hollywood diet consists of cottage cheese, two ounces of pineapple, and a glass of buttermilk, bringing the total calorie count for the day to a meager 305 calories. By contrast, the doctor recommended diet that will have you drop two and three pounds per week includes roast beef lunches and a breakfast of scalloped cod and stewed tomatoes.

A cup of hot water (calories - 0)
8 tablespoons of consomme (13Kcal)
Two saltine crackers (100Kcal)
1/4lb tomatoes (25Kcal)
Cottage cheese (50Kcal)
2oz pineapple (50Kcal)
One glass buttermilk (67Kcal)
Total: 305
* Don't try this at home

Later in life, Joan Crawford had a series with Vogue magazine called A Second Fame: Good Food, a series she authored for Vogue in the 1960s.
Vogue documented all of Joan Crawford's favorite foods, and Ugli fruit, a citrus fruit typically grown in Jamaica, was reportedly the actress's favorite fruit. Despite the exotic nature of this snack, the recipes Crawford shared in her Vogue interview remind us of a lot of down-home cooking: a spinach salad topped with bacon, a kidney bean salad, and boiled beef flanks.

Joan Crawford's Fried Apple Rings
4 green apples
¼ pound margarine or butter
Lemon juice
Brown sugar

Core and slice apples into thick rings, but do not peel. Sprinkle with lemon juice—heat margarine or butter in skillet. Fry apples first on one side, then the other, until brown but not mushy. This is a matter of a very few minutes. While frying, sprinkle top sides of apples with cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar to taste. Keep warm until all are done.

While working on a film, Crawford divided breakfast into two mini-meals. Shortly after waking up, she would have a piece of fruit and a cup of tea. An hour or two later, in her dressing room at the studio, she'd have a hard-boiled egg, bacon, or sausage—a protein blast before strutting onto the set and getting down to business. When not working, Texas dame Joan was known to enjoy a plate of huevos rancheros with hot sauce.

Joan Crawford's devotion to the first meal of the day was such that it was the last thing she ever did. Literally: One May morning in 1977, Crawford rose to make breakfast for her housekeeper and a fan who'd stayed over the previous night. She went back to bed to watch her morning soap operas and called out to the two women to eat the meal she had just prepared. Those were her last words.

The Truth Why Margot Robbie Was Cast In Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Actress Margot Robbie Is Getting Backlash For Her Role In Quentin Tarantino's Latest Movie Along Co-Stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.
The Film “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” written and directed by Quentin Tarantino has everybody talking. Some of the things they’re talking about, aside from the crazy good reviews from the Cannes Film Festival, are not so great. Critics are upset at how little we actually get to see one of the films stars. Margot Robbie is boasted as a supporting role in the film playing the icon of the cinema in the 1960s, Sharon Tate. So why aren’t we seeing more of her on screen? The sad story is that the two lead characters, played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, have a more important part of the story even though their characters are totally fictional. Margot has defended her choice to work on this film with such a controversial director, even though her role seems so small on screen. This has been a lifelong dream of hers. Be sure to watch this video until the end to get Margot’s true opinion on making movies like these, and how she convinced Tarantino to cast her in the first place.

The Ending Of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Explained

As with every Tarantino film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is rich with storytelling depth and meaning, especially as the film reaches its climax. Now that the movie's out, it's time to dig deep into the ending.

Let's get the biggest development of the ending out of the way: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is a movie in which the Manson family murders didn't happen the way they did in real life. It's clear from Cliff's visit to the Spahn Movie Ranch that Charles Manson's commune is up to something devious, but when it comes time to commit the infamous murders on Cielo Drive on the night of August 8th, historical fact gives way to fiction. One drug-fueled decision to change plans and try to murder Rick Dalton creates a ripple effect. Sharon Tate and her friends survive that night, and three key members of Manson's family do not.

Though the film ends before it can explore the full extent of this ripple effect, it's safe to assume that the black cloud created by the Manson murders in 1969 was changed in a number of key ways. Joan Didion famously wrote that the night Sharon Tate died was the night the 1960s ended. The decade was about to end anyway, but perhaps Rick and Cliff's acts of self-defense were enough to keep the feeling of the 1960s alive in Hollywood for at least a little longer.

The last shot of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood shows us Rick, having torched Susan Atkins in his pool during the attack on his house, being invited up to Sharon Tate's home for drinks. It's the realization of a fantasy Rick has been nurturing ever since he figured out that the hottest director in town, Roman Polanski, and his rising star wife were his neighbors. To Rick, they're the people who can get him into all the best Hollywood circles, the people who can resurrect his struggling career. Keep watching the video to see the ending of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood explained!

Sharon Marie Tate (January 24, 1943 – August 9, 1969) was an American actress and model. During the 1960s, she played small television roles before appearing in films and was regularly featured in fashion magazines as a model and cover girl. After receiving positive reviews for her comedic and dramatic acting performances, Tate was hailed as one of Hollywood's most promising newcomers.Tate made her film debut in 1961 in Barabbas with Anthony Quinn. She was next seen in 1966 with the occult-themed Eye of the Devil. Her most remembered performance was as Jennifer North in the 1967 cult classic film, Valley of the Dolls, earning her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Tate's last completed film, 12+1, was released posthumously in 1969. Two years before her death she performed in the film The Fearless Vampire Killers directed by her future husband Roman Polanski. On August 9, 1969, Tate and four others were murdered by members of the Manson Family in the home she shared with her husband, director Roman Polanski. At the time of her death, she was eight-and-a-half months pregnant with the couple's son.

Bette Davis' Favorite Beauty Products you can still buy today

Hello lovelies, today I will be talking about Bette Davis' favorite beauty products that you can still buy today.
Bette Davis was born on April 5, 1908, and passed away on October 6, 1989, was an American actress of film, television, and theater. With a career spanning 60 years and 100 acting credits, she is regarded as one of the greatest actresses in Hollywood history. A recipient of two Academy Awards, she was the first thespian to garner ten nominations.
Givenchy Le De:

What possessed Givenchy to create two fragrances in 1957, the well known L'Interdit and the less known Le De, both inspired from and initially intended for Audrey Hepburn. In retrospect, though both elegant, delicate enough florals of immense clarity to reflect the tameness of the 1950s in terms of perfume expectations and societal mores and therefore suited to the nice girl elegance of Hepburn herself, the commercial supremacy of one over the other has left Le De in the twilight. It's perhaps telling that Bette Davis, no spring chicken when Le De became available in 1958 ~the actress was hitting 50, well into maturity by the standards of the time~ chose to wear the ill-fated one. Le De remains today a snapshot of how women used to smell, ladylike and in pearls, and even in the re-orchestrated re-issue that the company launched in 2007, seems a captive of time in one way or another.

Lanvin Eau de Lanvin Arpège:

In 1927, for her daughter Marguerite's 30th birthday, Jeanne Lanvin had a perfume created that expressed her style with extreme elegance. It was Arpège, the brand's most legendary fragrance: an accord of rare and precious flowers (Bulgarian rose, jasmine, Florentine iris) as if they were all blossoming together in an Impressionist garden. A perfume recognizable also by its perfect black and gold Art Deco-style bottle.

Beauty Secrets:

Bette Davis' kept her eyes looking youthful and bright by applying cucumber slices to her lids at night. Then she dabbed petroleum jelly under her eyes to help prevent dark circles.

Lux toilet soap:
Vintage advertisements are featuring Bette Davis and Lux soap, so there is a chance she used Lux soap. The brand was founded by the firm Lever Brothers, now known as Unilever, in 1899. The name changed from Sunlight Flakes to Lux in 1900, a Latin word for light and suggestive of luxury. Lux toilet soap was launched in the United States in 1925 and the United Kingdom in 1928.

Hello lovelies, today I will be talking all about Edie Sedgwick and her favorite beauty products that you can still buy today as well as her fashion. Edie Sedgwick (April 20, 1943 – November 16, 1971) was an American socialite, actress, and fashion model. She was best known for being Andy Warhol's muse starring in several of his films. In 1965 Edie was named The Girl of the year, after starring in several of Warhol's short films in the 1960s. When Warhol's film Poor Little Rich Girl was relased in the art scene in 1965, Edie was deemed a youthquaker by Diana Vreeland, the editor of Vogue. Edie then entered icon territory and was rumored to be dating Bob Dylan. Two of his songs, Just like a Woman, and Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat, is supposed to be about her.

Edie Sedgwick was the symbol of the freewheeling sixties with her sense of style. She would layer fur and leopard print over striped T-shirts worn as dresses. She also wore massive shoulder-length chandelier earrings and exaggerated mod eye makeup and false lashes.
