The difference between healthy and unhealthy love | Katie Hood

In a talk about understanding and practicing the art of healthy relationships, Katie Hood reveals the five signs you might be in an unhealthy relationship -- with a romantic partner, a friend, a family member -- and shares the things you can do every day to love with respect, kindness and joy. While love is an instinct and an emotion, the ability to love better is a skill we can all build and improve on over time, she says.

ARE U OK?
Hi Kati, my parents divorced when I was 12 and they screamed and fought with each other for years. I think this has made me extremely fearful of becoming close to anyone because I am afraid that they will become angry with me eventually, and yell like my parents did. My question is how to know what a healthy romantic relationship is like if you have never been exposed to one before, ie parents divorced and always had tumultuous relationships with romantic partners. Also, how do you overcome the fear of ending up in a bad relationship besides avoiding them altogether?A BIG THANK YOU to my Patreon Patrons! The Secrets To Building Happy And Healthy Romantic Relationships... with Alison Armstrong

There is nothing in life that has more of an impact on your level of happiness than the quality of your relationship with your romantic partner.

Get it right, and life is limitless. Get it wrong, and… Well we've all been there, and it isn't pretty.

Yet ironically, we go through school and through life without a single class on this topic.

We were supposed to learn by example from our parents, but with the state of marriage these days, that's gone out the window.

After my divorce three years ago, I decided to dive into this topic with two feet, and studied everything I could get my hands on, from Tony Robbins, to David Deida, and everything in between.

And then last year I discovered across Alison Armstrong.

What I have learned from her has been life changing. As far as I'm concerned, she has cracked the code and created the ultimate instruction manual for creating incredible relationships.

In fact, I won't even consider dating a woman unless she is willing to dive into Alison's work.

If you want to build an amazing relationship with your significant other… If you want to learn how to successfully work through conflicts, and really understand why they think and act they way they do… You've found the Holy Grail.

In today's episode, you're going to learn…

How to understand the testosterone vs. estrogen operating system and how it affects your personal and professional life. What the biggest culprit in conflicts between men and woman is, and how to shift that conflict into a positive outcome of feeling happier and closer than ever before. What the two biggest turn-offs are for a woman and why you should never do them. What you can do to make a woman feel more safe, so when you do get frustrated you have a more solid foundation. What specifically brings a woman to naturally conclude in her mind, I want to have sex with him! Consider this podcast an introduction, and then dive into her programs on Audible. You'll be glad you did.

If you enjoy helping a woman in need please visit us at
The five languages of love are about how people give and receive love.

It can sometimes feel that our partner is speaking a different language to us when they express their love. Or sometimes it can feel that they are not receiving the love that we are giving them? This is simply because people show their love in different ways. Once you recognise how your partner is giving you love, you have solved this very special language.

This course is based on the book, The 5 Languages of Love, The Secret to Love that Lasts, written by Gary Chapman.

In this short course, Serena Woroglian, a Relationship Counsellor who has 20 years’ experience counselling, explains in detail each of the five languages of love that we use to express our love. These 5 languages of love are words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service and physical touch; all languages that can strengthen and mend relationships.

On the other side of our love language, is how to meet your partners’ needs for love. Serena will help explain how to recognise how others want to receive love and how you can give it them in the form they require for a long, happy and lasting relationship. If you need help guiding your relationship in the right direction, this course will give you proactive and practical steps to expressing your love for each other – your love will be received and the love you need will be in your language!

Transform your relationship today with this inspiring course!
