Predators are wild animals that hunt, or prey on, other animals. All animals need food to live. Predator animals need the flesh of the animals that they kill to survive. Weasels, hawks, wolves, mountain lions, and grizzly bears are all predators. Predators are carnivores, which means their diet consists of meat. Some predators, such as coyotes and bears, are also scavengers, meaning they will eat the carcasses of animals that they didn't hunt themselves.

If You See This, Run Away And Call For Help

If You See This Run Away and Call for Help

If you’re the curious type, you’re probably the type of person that approaches something without hesitation, and that includes unfamiliar animals. Well, no matter how curious you are, never come close to any of the animals on this list. Heed my advice, if you see any of these animals, you run away. Especially from number one, if you can run away that is. Stay tuned to find out what it is.

Number 10. The Goliath Birdeater
Goliath Birdeater spiders are the largest spiders in the world, both in weight and size. These heavyweights can weigh in at over 6 oz., and be up to 11 in. across with their legs spread. Like all tarantulas, they have a large abdomen and a smaller cephalothorax. This spider’s spinnerets are at the end of its abdomen, and its fangs are at the front of its cephalothorax. They have very large fangs, which can be up to 1.5 in. long. Each fang is equipped with venom, but it is mild and not dangerous to humans unless you are allergic.
Just knowing how big it is and that it packs venom should be enough to convince you not to mess with this thing. The thing is, it’s not its size nor venom that you should be worrying about. It’s the hairs. hey can rub and release the fine hairs from their abdomens. These urticating hairs irritate the mucous membranes of a predator, for example the nose, mouth, and eyes. Needless to say, if these little suckers get on your skin, you’re going to be itchy for days.

Number 9. The Giant African Land Snail
The giant African land snail, is the largest species of snail found on land and generally grow to around 20 cm in length. It is native to the forest areas of East Africa but has been introduced into Asia, the Caribbean and a number of islands in both the Pacific and the Indian oceans. Now, I know what you’re thinking; what could a snail possibly do to you that should be able you to turn tail and run? Well, I’m going to get into that in a bit.
In the areas of the world where it is found, the giant African land snail is generally seen as a pest as these snails will eat almost anything vegetarian that they can find and have proven to be quite destructive when around crops and wild flowers. However, it’s not how much they can eat that you should worry about. Giant African land snails are known to carry parasites that can transmit meningitis to humans. A scary though especially when coupled with the fact that they are kept as pets in some parts of the world.

Number 8. The Goliath Tigerfish
The Goliath tigerfish is the largest member of the tigerfish clan, known to grow as large as 5 feet and weigh over 110 pounds, and is native to the Congo River Basin, Lualaba River, Upemba, and Lake Tanganyika in Africa.
This large African predator is a freshwater fish with an olive colored back and a silvery underside. What’s striking about the Goliath tigerfish is its astounding size and weight, almost looking as if it grew on steroids, and it uses its razor-like teeth to tear its prey apart. The lifespan of this fish is unknown in the wild, but in captivity it can live as many as 10 to 15 years.
If you see it out in the wild while swimming, turn the other way and swim in the opposite direction, and pray that it won’t follow you. It is a very fierce predator, with a mouth full of 32 dagger-like teeth and a very muscular physique that enables it to hunt efficiently. It isn’t even afraid of crocodiles and actually eats the smaller ones.

Despite their massive size, they are fast runners, faster than Usain Bolt himself. Grizzlies can reportedly
run 35 mph, and sustain speeds of up to 28 mph for two miles, faster than Usain Bolt’s 27.78 miles per
hour stride.

they’re often hungry, considered as apex predators, can run faster than you, what else is there to be
scared of? Well, they have claws as long as human fingers and the strength to chop op your head with
one stroke.

Top 10 Strongest Land Carnivores on Earth

10. Grey Wolf (45kg, 0.85m at shoulder): Unsurprisingly my favorite animal. Their complex social hierarchies are an integral part of their behavior. They are highly social and highly intelligent animals. They have great respect for other members of the pack regardless of their rank. Contrary to popular belief, the omega wolf is also respected and his/her role at the bottom of the pecking order is of great importance for the health of the pack. The omega wolf's duties is just as important as the alpha wolf. If a wolfpack pass an area where a packmember had died in the past, the entire pack lowers their ears out of respect. A dead pack member will not be abandoned until it begins to rot.

9. Spotted Hyena (54kg, 0.81m at shoulder): Hyena's form packs similar to canine species such as wild dogs and wolves despite not being canines themselves. Hyena's are classified in the suborder Feliformia as they are more closely related to felines than canines. They are also highly social animals with a similar hierarchical system to wolves. It's distinct sloping rear helps it avoid being bitten from the back as it usually finds itself at odds with other predators near a kill. They are carnivores but mostly only hunt when they are the dominant predators in a certain habitat and scavenge when there are other predators to compete with. Their distinct laugh can mean a variety of things: excitement, nervousness, or be used to communicate.

8. Leopard (64kg, 0.65m at shoulder): A solitary hunter that can usually be found in trees. It hunts by stalking or ambushing, generally trying to get as close as possible before charging. Its powerful neck allows it to carry prey items that outweigh itself into trees to be kept safe from other predators or scavengers.

7. Jaguar (76kg, 0.70m at shoulder): Has a reputation for being very robust and have extraordinarily thick skulls. Known to take on and even kill caiman. They usually follow streams or rivers in the forest to catch and kill animals drinking. They are powerful swimmers, some have been known to swim across the Panama canal.

6. Burmese Python (79kg, 5.00m long): Despite their great size, they are generally docile animals and rarely attack humans. Given their nature, they are common animals in the pet trade. Due to this, they are removed from their natural habitats to enter the pet trade. Habitat depletion and poaching have caused declines in the animals numbers.

5. Green Anaconda (98kg, 5.60m long): The largest snakes on Earth. The are slightly shorter than the reticulated pythons on average but they are much bulkier making them the largest snakes. They have been known to eat fully grown crocodiles but usually live off of capybara, wild deer and wild pigs.

Honorable Mention: Western Gorilla (160kg, 1.65m tall): Western lowland gorillas are endangered, but they remain far more common than their relatives, the mountain gorillas. They have a vegetarian diet consisting of: roots, shoots, fruit, wild celery, and tree bark and pulp. (That's what you eat if you want to make mad gaaaiinzzz just chow down on some tree bark my dude)

4. African Lion (190kg, 1.15m at shoulder): They are the only big cats that live in groups, which are called prides. Males have impressive manes that protect them when battling other males. Females usually do the hunting but the male still eats first.

Honorable Mention: Saltwater Crocodile (700kg, 4.75m long): Largest crocodilian in the world. They can be found out in the ocean but also inland. They ambush prey that come in to drink water. Once trapped in the jaws, there is no escape. They perform death rolls to tear flesh from prey since they cannot chew.

3. Siberian Tiger (222kg, 1.09m at shoulder): Largest big cat in the world, renowned for their power and strength. They are truly massive and can reach weights upwards of 330kg. Just think about that for a second and how massive that is. On top of that they are highly stealthy and agile. Unfortunately, they are highly endangered due to being hunted as trophies and being used in traditional Chinese medicine.

2. Kodiak bear (506kg, 1.33m at shoulder): The largest brown bear species. Physiologically very similar to Grizzly bears but are larger on average. They inhabit islands southwest of Alaska.

1. Polar bear (525kg, 1.41m at shoulder): Largest extant carnivore on Earth. The largest of these bears can exede weights of 700kg which is mind boggling. They have black skin and translucent hairs which helps greatly in staying warm. They are also classified as marine mammals and can swim for days at a time. They are facing immense habitat loss due to global warming and are becoming increasingly endangered.

15 Highest Jumpers the Earth Has Ever Seen

Looking at the average human, you can’t help but wonder: how in the world did this soft and, let’s be fair, clumsy-looking creature even get to the point where we are now? We aren’t the fastest runners, we can’t properly swim or fly, we don’t succeed even in climbing, but somehow, we’ve climbed to the top rank of nature itself. But we certainly didn’t jump up there.

Animals are way better at this. Kangaroos can jump over two average people standing on top of each other. Dolphins are the best jumpers in the ocean. Even fleas and plankton are champions when it comes to jumping. Let’s see who else made it to the list.

-Dolphins can jump 10 ft over the surface of the water.
-Impalas can leap over a small bus.

-Mountain lions, also known as Cougars and Pumas have to hop high – 20 ft high to be precise.
-A flying fish can jump up above the water and use its fins to fly for over 40 seconds straight. Flying squirrels can glide over a football field at once. And even flying snakes can do that by launching themselves off the trees and slithering through the air in an S shape.
-The absolute leap-master is American bullfrog, which can jump over 7 ft.
-White-tailed jackrabbit is one of the mightiest jumpers that can jump on top of a giraffe’s head.
-Grasshoppers are great jumpers thanks to their catapult legs.
-Spiders’ legs can expand like pistons, launching them up over 50 times their own length.
-A froghopper jumps straight up 27.5 in, which is 100 times its body length.
-A flea jumps only 10 in high, but for something that small it’s as if a person could jump over a 250 ft tall building — or the Eiffel Tower.
-When in danger, a trap-jaw ant aims its head downwards, and launches itself up in the air.
-Tiny plankton copepods launch them forward with the velocity of 1,000 times their body length per second.

Top 10 Apex Predators In The World | World News14 | Top News | Apex Predators | TOP 10
In the wild, there is only one rule – eat or be eaten. Apex predators are those animals that are at the topmost level of the food chain for their habitat and are not prey to anyone. This is our list of the top 10 apex predators in the world,
The Killer Whale, made famous by lead roles in many Hollywood movies, is not actually a whale and belongs to the dolphin family.
One of the most amazing animals in the world and the majestic big cat is the most feared predator of Asian jungles and can weigh up to 300 kilos.
This large fish too has acquired fame thanks to Hollywood and is the largest predatory fish in the world. It hunts smaller fish, whales, turtles, and seals using its sense of smell and over three hundred sharp teeth.
This majestic predator is found in Asia and Africa and is the second-biggest member of the Felidae family after the tiger. The male is identified by the golden-brown mane around its neck.
These large bears are found to the extreme north, in the Arctic region and are able to live in very cold conditions due to their thick fur and a layer of fat under the skin called blubber.
The only bird to make it to the list of top ten apex predators, the Golden Eagle is one of the fastest birds in the world with strong wings and sharp talons it uses to tear into prey.
These crocodiles are the largest reptiles living today and can grow to lengths of 5 meters and weigh over 1000 kilos. They are found in Australia, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Thailand and Papua New Guinea.
This elusive cat is called a Ghost because they are very difficult to spot. This is mainly due to diminishing population size, extreme stealth, and excellent camouflage.
The Komodo dragon may seem like an unlikely entry, but this large lizard is an effective predator because of an unusual property.
This animal, a much-feared predator in North America has the scientific name Ursus horrible. It is smaller than the Polar Bear and the Alaskan Brown Bear but is known for frequently attacking humans who come too close.
